It's quite exciting too.

Not really. It used to be when changed alternate home and away tops every two seasons. Now its 3 a season. Too much for many folk. My opinion of course.

Edit: I just buy a couple of new t-shirts on every visit now as they are 'in date' for much longer., next visit due in August.

One of the best things at Wembley was seeing dozens of different shirts from through the decades. Football tops don't really go out of fashion.

I noticed a lot of pristine 90s shirts, which made me curious as to where they’d been. Mine are a bit worn out.

Oldest I spotted was a yellow, Browns Transport 86/87 away top (with the V neck). Worth a few bob that one.

Or in my case too small! Quite a few were wearing the errea remakes from a few years ago, which I wish I’d bought at the time. My personal favourite will always be the Grandad collar Mizuno one from 97/98.

That was probably the nicest, most comfortable material of any Vale shirt I've owned. I have it in short and long sleeves.

Had it in short sleeves in small Men’s when I would have been..12 years old. Saw a few ex player long sleeves on eBay for silly money but yes, that’s my dream shirt.

I think the modern ones are most comfortable.  Some years, certainly in the 90’s, the players shirts were made of a slightly different material, a bit softer/silkier(?) than those sold to the fans.

Looking at the fans wearing them I think a lot were hand me downs.  Quite a few younger fans wearing tops from the late 80’s too.   I guess if you were of a certain age back then you soon outgrew them.  I know of quite a few young kids who were wearing the top their dad wore in ‘93.

This seasons kit is one of my all time favourite. The Gold colour is perfect and would like to keep it even with a little black.

I never believed this all white kit curse. After all we also had the LDV vans trophy win season with a winning streak in all white.

What ever we have it will be Vale.
