I have a extra ticket brought in memory of my dad (19)years R.I.P I brought it for a randomer (do not know this person at all)so he could go but he cannot get any money out to or from his gf to pay for coach or car to go .
So I would like to give this to a Vale fan I can email it off to someone it's block 130 I paid 28.50 for it altogether all you would have do is print it off .
If anyone interested inbox me UTV I do not want anything for it I originally was going pay for me lady come but shes going visit her lovely aunty down south .
UTV

Superb gesture by you mate.

I'm sure he'll be looking down on you.

I'm usually a train job, possibly this would of been an overnighter and plenty of beverages but instead I'm taking my old man who is 82.

His last game was the 2-2 v Northampton in 2013 so hopefully the same end outcome tomorrow.

Well done again. 👏

Surely not?

I don't live near the club. I haven't had time to travel up.

They're not going to refuse me on the coach with an email confirmation are they?

I think that the shop is open at 7am tomorrow, you might be able to collect then.

Just a quick question on coach travel. Is it sit anywhere on the coach ?  or do you have to sit in the actual seat you booked as there is no seat no on the ticket.

Sit anywhere except the driver's seat 😁

Mansfield sold 16500 as of lunch time so imagine we will both end up around the 17k mark.

That's exactly the same as Vale....remarkable!     (well done all those Forest fans)

Update lives in Norris Road Tunstall the person looking for car share

If you can get to North west Leicestershire for 10 30 in the morning your welcome to travel with 2 Leicestershire vale fans, will take you appropriately 1 hour 20minutes depending on traffic, this side of leicester

29 years ago we took barely 10k for a playoff final to get into the Second Division. We're now taking over 16k for a final to get into the Third Division.

Excellent numbers , over 3000 more than our last PO final , during the heights of the Rudge years

....not really comparable seeing as that was the second trip to Wembley in 8 days - hence only 13000. (was it 26000 the week before v Stockport?)

Bit disappointing that Mansfield have sold slightly more than us. We’re a bigger club than Mansfield surely?

We have to realise though that apart from the period under Micky Adams we have had the best part of 25 years in the abyss. Most younger people have had no reason to support the vale as stoke have had alot of success in the last 25 years apart from the last 4. We are rebuilding it's going to take time. Back in 93 u have to remember we took 27k to wembley because we were alot bigger club back then we had been in the championship a few seasons, had a some cup major cup scalps and played at a higher level than stoke for a few yrs and gates wise were almost there equals. 17k I think for a division 4 play off is brilliant. Mansfield took 25k in 1987 but nowhere near that figure. Times have changed.

They said 16,500, they've been vague throughout, but consistently said "over", until now. I think 16,500 is probably rounded up.

That and the fact Forest fans will be boosting their numbers slightly means you can't draw too many conclusions. What teams take to Wembley doesn't reflect their true size. Northampton took 40k once 🤣. Walsall took 30k. And even Wycombe took 28k the other day.

Let's not blow it out of proportion.
