Went to Swindon game, not a regular due to being a grassroots football referee. Followed Vale's fortunes since early 80's but normally only get to six games per season. Not bought a ticket for Wembley as don't fancy a solo trip to Wembley as don't know any other Vale fans in my area Newport, Shropshire. If anyone would be interested in helping me out. Happy to share costs.

You're bound to see other Vale fans on pretty much any train going to London on Saturday morning. It would be a shame to miss out on seeing Vale at Wembley.

I've just Tweeted Ticketmaster, Carol &Colin to ask why Mansfield have now been offered Cat 5 Tickets yet Vale are still being forced to buy Cat 1 to a Limited amount of Cat 4. Whether Ticketmaster respond is a different matter, but if anyone wants to raise it, feel free to comment on Twitter @andypvfc

We sold all the cat 5 on the bottom tier within a few hours. They won't be opening the top unless all bottom and middle tickets go. That won't happen. Anyone waiting on cheaper tickets won't be getting one unless we miraculously sell another 4,500 tickets in the next few days.

Then the allocation was never 25k. It was 25k on the condition that a percentage of more expensive seats were sold.

Yep. Don't know why they bothered to say anything differently. The allocation for the bottom two tiers for both clubs is just over 19,000. Top tier was never getting opened for either club unless they sold that many first.

What's annoyed me is that 141 to 143 haven't gone on general sale. These are some of the best seats in the house, and are on the side that the cameras face. This seems bizarre to me. Seats on the side of the pitch have been a tiny percentage of our overall release.

Yeah that certainly seems to be the case. It's a shame because it will definitely have put a few off. Would be good if the last 2 or 3 days of sales got a really big push with a few thousand cat 5 tickets and a few more coaches sorted.

Noticed Wrexham took 25k on Sunday. They didn't go round the South side of the West Stand. They stopped in the South / West corner. Then tickets started selling in the cat 5 and 6 seats on the North side of the 3rd tier, which looked full. I think we'd have reached 20k at least had we taken that approach.

I wonder if the clubs have those tickets allocated for them to dispose of to family, corporate customers etc. Just a guess.
