Saturday’s ref is the Aussie Jarred Gillett. This is his first full seasons on the Prem list. I’ve seen him live and he did nowt daft.

If Proctor isn't fit to start I'd be tempted to go with something like this, let Taylor, Charsley and Garrity run from deeper positions to support Wilson. This formation could retain the ball well and make Mansfield run around and use up energy and cause a headache for their defenders in who to mark. Can always bring on Harratt and/or Edmondson if it's not working.

My team,if fit,would be to swop Taylor for Harratt and play 3412

5 days still to go and already getting really nervous, not felt like this for a long time in readiness for a game.  For me this is the most important game I can remember seeing the Vale play in.  Having witnessed promotions in 89 and 94, I felt too young to appreciate it at the time and then in 2013, always felt we would go up throughout the season having been in the top all season.  This for me would mean the most given what we have been through during the season and been of an age to enjoy this.
