After dropping the nut on 1 or 2 of their players.Probably not.Sorry.

Don’t you think so?  He won’t be banned from the stadium, just from taking part in the match apart from via wireless comms to the bench, which could perversely work to our advantage.  I guess there’ll be some sort of announcement before the weekend.

I might get dogs abuse for this but...

I know this is just a bit of a laugh & I understand why people are going on about it but... is there any chance we could just leave it be & enjoy our day out at Wembley, win or lose.

Seeing loads of people buying various pig related items for the final, why let him even play a part in our day at Wembley? It's not for me at all, he means nothing, we've dealt with him, karma has already been served. Why drag it out any further & give him the satisfaction that he's still even on our minds...

Come on Vale fans, let's have an amazing day at Wembley & forget about him for goodness sake. It's done. We move on... to our first ever final at the new Wembley. Great Times!

I hope we fill our end with black & white flags, hats, scarves, banners, tikker tape, the works... but sod this pig thing, it's weird.

Quite agree, we are playing right up his street.

Come on Vale Fans, we are better than this.
Some Fans let the club down after Thursday’s match.

Let’s do Carol and the club proud at Wembley on and off the pitch.

It was a continuation of the comment made GR,not referring to the Swindle incident. My poor sense of humour hence my apology.Seriously though,I will be disappointed if he doesn’t lead the team out.

One thing to come out of the Autoglass and playoffs many moons ago were the flags at home games the following season. Including that massive one that got passed around the paddock. I'd quite like to see more flags and inflatable pigs at home games. Swindon flags look pretty good in the bycars. We just haven't had a big occasion to warrant buying any merchandise for 30 years. I'm all for it, flags scarves and inflatables please next season.

Benning is an accomplished left back when playing that role. Worrall isn’t a right back even though at times has been required to play in that position the same as Benning because we always play a 352. For me I’d keep the same team that started against Swindon. I saw some of the best football we’ve played all season in the first half and should have had that game put to bed at half time.

I'd agree with keeping the same team. Smith proved on Tuesday why he should be first choice CB - nothing against Martin and when he's played he's done nothing wrong but for me, Smith plays that role brilliantly.

It's also compelling that Wozza had one of this best games in recent months, which I put down to Gibbo playing the RCB role and overlapping him but giving sound re-assurance from a defensive perspective. That is a combination that I've been looking/waiting for, and I wasn't disappointed.

Mansfield are going to be a really tricky game and on paper have a very good squad, but we've shown we can match them. Mansfield fans are acting similar to Swindon's, they think their team just need to turn up and we're beat.

One thing which could work in our favour, the size of the pitch. Mansfield pitch is relatively tight so not accustomed to a pitch of Wembley's size....it's only Monday, and my nerves are shot already! UTV - into these

Mansfield have senior players like Quinn, Perch, O’Toole, Hawkins is relatively slow, Longstaff doesn’t apparently cover the ground either so Wembley might suit us more than them.

If we have a repeat of Thursday’s effort and performance then we stand a Good Chance.

Am i right in thinking that Quinn will be the Coutts, Johnny Williams type who will attempt to ref tbe game?

Really funny how that's been a feature of the run in. Keep coming up against these wiser old pro's who anchor themselves in CM, dictate play and the ref

Totally agree. The pigs thing is just a bitter swipe at a minor player at Vale who had a few decent games for Swindon and then stuffed up a penalty which was great for us.

Saturday should be purely about Vale, black and white, Burslem, Rudgie, Earle, Sproson, hating stoke. Not cheap plastic pigs.
