So what do we all reckon about mansfield then?

I thought they looked really good when we stole a draw at their place. High press and passed it really well. Wasnt suprised that they surged up the league. It'll be a completely different test to swindon who I felt had a soft core.

I prefer our strikers, but without conlon & walker think they might have more skill in midfield than us. Think it's another of those games where we will need to earn the right to play further up the pitch. I dont think we have the pace or skill to hit from deep so this is essential.

Worral vs Mclaughlin feels like a key battle. I hope proctor isnt beyond repair as his experience could make the difference for us.

I'd be happy seeing Rawson start. He looks a real weak link at the back but I think he's lost his place.

They are a good side. Absolutely mullered us at their place. They came to win at Vale too and gave it a go.

Very difficult match to call.

Comeee onnn youuu piiiigs 🐷

I might get dogs abuse for this but...

I know this is just a bit of a laugh & I understand why people are going on about it but... is there any chance we could just leave it be & enjoy our day out at Wembley, win or lose.

Seeing loads of people buying various pig related items for the final, why let him even play a part in our day at Wembley? It's not for me at all, he means nothing, we've dealt with him, karma has already been served. Why drag it out any further & give him the satisfaction that he's still even on our minds...

Come on Vale fans, let's have an amazing day at Wembley & forget about him for goodness sake. It's done. We move on... to our first ever final at the new Wembley. Great Times!

I hope we fill our end with black & white flags, hats, scarves, banners, tikker tape, the works... but sod this pig thing, it's weird.

I disagree, it's absolutely magical and will make my day. I am emotional just thinking about all the pigs.

If we play like we did on Thursday then I think we will win. I’m hoping they can get Proctor at least starting.
The most important thing is Hall and Smith taking Thursday night into Saturday as they were immense.

Clarke has some selection headaches as for all Bennings qualities going forward he isn’t the best defensively and we are need energy in the middle of the park so for me I’d be starting Charsley.

Evenly matched to us IMO, they don’t tend to travel well and have a poor record against the top 10 away from field mill (8 losses, 1 draw) aside from the PO win at Cobblers. It’s a final though so all probably goes out the window.

Bookies fancy us… just.

I've looked back at the Mansfield results and I've no idea how they will set up. The good news is that it is an away fixture for them as it is for us. Clough harped on for ages about having to play so many away games together!!

I really think it's how we set up,according to personnel. I would be tempted to start with the back 3,4 in MF(Charsley not Taylor),Garrity and Wilson, then Proctor or Harratt. If we start like the last game and push them back then we will be ok.

Their keeper is prone to mistakes, they tend to start O'Toole,Quinn and Perch who are all getting on. Our energy levels were really good in the last game.

I don't make predictions but we've given ourselves every chance and have proved we can come from behind. I'll enjoy the occasion anyway...weather has given dry and cloudy.

Benning is an accomplished left back when playing that role. Worrall isn’t a right back even though at times has been required to play in that position the same as Benning because we always play a 352. For me I’d keep the same team that started against Swindon. I saw some of the best football we’ve played all season in the first half and should have had that game put to bed at half time.
