Wrexham owner Ryan Reynolds critical of National League

 Interesting one this. Ryan Reynolds wants the national league to be streamed internationally but this has been turned down. Would this benefit the rest of the league in the future and would other teams be able to stream? Or just Wrexham ? Not to mention BT sports have the rights.

 

Along with the documentary and apparently being added to the fifa 23 video game. Wrexham will be the next juggernaut of football it seems. 

I still can't get my head round two Hollywood actors buying a small team in North Wales. So bizarre

It's a weird one isn't it, almost like he pointed his finger at a spot on the map and said that's who I want to buy, good for the Wrexham fans though! 

Not sure why he cares about the national league being streamed that much, they'll be in the football league very soon after all

Gateshead v Maidenhead will have them flocking to subscribe..!!?

Sadly typical of johny rich owners not understanding football... the costs to show some matches will outweigh income...who covers that?

Isn't there a series being aired on Sky or Netflix Welcome to Wrexham,  I heard him talking about it on radio 4 last week, this'll explain how and why they bought the club.

There was a funny post on Facebook whereby someone shared the video of the advert saying I can't believe that Wrexham fans sing the Wonder of You as well.

I listened to the video and it was clearly Wrexham fans singing 'Can't help falling in love'

Surprised if he ever went to Wrexham before buying them. I can’t see why anyone who visited Wrexham would choose to ever go back there again.

Being aired on FX owned by Fox I believe.

I had to go Wrexham a few years back to help a friend move house.

It is BPV, I've seen the first two episodes and it's really enjoyable. The program goes through why Ryan Renolds and Rob McElhenney bought Wrexham.

Apparently they'd not met before they bought Wrexham. They had the support/backing of the Wrexham Supporters Trust to buy the club.

It will be interesting to see how this pans out but I hope for Wrexham fan's and the town's sake that it does.

With Ryan's popularity. No doubt Wrexham will build a fairly decent fanbase over the States and gain some major sponsorship/merchandise sales too. I can't imagine there's much interest other then the Premier league though? 

If they do get promoted. Will be interesting to see how they do with the ffp rule ( not that it's works anyways)
