Play-offs v Swindon Tickets

Recommended Posts

Surely anyone can walk up and buy tickets before the match? If so then the club need to come out on Thursday afternoon and say how many are available to encourage last-minute walk-ups; by that time it will be too late for Swindon fans to travel in the hope of getting tickets in the home end?

Five lads from work, none of whom are Vale fans all said they’d go the home leg but have no way of getting tickets as they’re not on the database. Luckily I offered to get them tickets. How many fans aren’t bothering because of this I wonder? Fair weather fans are hardly going to pester people to get them tickets.

Fair play to you and how it should be .
Lets not be judgemental let's take the money off whoever and fill the ground I'm.sure you are not the only one who's done that as our usual attendance for a night match in the main when we were average to mediocre was 3500 its gone up to about 4500 this season so if we are at 9000 sold by end of today we have doubled our average attendance for a night match

Just rang the ticket office, tickets available on the day walk up to the office, need your postcode or another proof of identity. 9000 + home tickets sold roughly 2000 left. 9000 + 2200+ 2000 = 13200 that’s our allowed current capacity!

Just seen the arrangements for away fans on Thursday and it baffles me why we've decided having the hamil for home fans. It must be costing us a fortune to police that. I presumed they would have synetics car park right next to the bycars, but their walking them up from Dimensions. That's a lot of dimly lit pathway the police have got to cover. Wonder why we couldn't use the far car park on synectics for away fans and charge them for the pleasure? That map the police have just put on twitter looks like an open invitation to local knuckle draggers who fancy lobbing a few bottles. A lot of police going to be needed to heard 2000 away fans down there.

It may be better with the home fans all walking down the Hamil after the game and them walking away from the ground via a different route.

I was surprised at the away game that they had the coaches park 10-15 minutes away from the ground and we walked past the home end to get to our end.  No trouble at all that I saw.  At least in our situation the fans can be kept apart and the only ones that may want to walk that way are ones that are looking for hassle.

Count me in on that too. Only been in there the once for an Anglo-Italian group game with Genoa so looking forward to it. The noise from there is great when there’s a 500 strong away following in it so all set up to be a great night.

That was a promotion party on a Friday night a week after Brighton in 94. Organised by Rudgey, packed, 6,000 🤣. Good old Belly

I'm not sure what to believe anymore. They could have said that yesterday if that was the case. Tweet goes on to say "10k of you" and then says you can still buy tickets in the Hamil which obviously only refers to Vale. My head hurts.
