Important question!!
Can you nip out for a smoke at half time in the Hamil???
It's a deal breaker

no you have to invade the pitch and sit on the track, just ask a steward, cant see the issue with a pitch side cig. Although H&S has gone mad these days. Soon you wont be able to drink the bovril due to H&S issues, my tongue is still suffering.

Good new about the Hamil arrangement and although a lot of my memories are from the Bycars I would welcome this becoming a permanent move. The only stumbling block in the future would be the police insisting that larger problematic away followings are moved back to the Hamil.

If permanent, the club could install a fenced walk-way directly from the pub to the back of the Hamil. There are endless advantages and opportunities to giving home fans the Hamil permanently.

The only small issue would be the scoreboard not being visible, but I think it long overdue an upgrade and possible relocation anyway.

Limit their fans then, like this one.

Park the away coaches on Dimensions.

Escort them via the marlole.

Job done

Just a warning that the usually unused away end at Swindon makes the Bycars look like the new Tottenham stadium. !!

Razor wire, graffiti and rubble everywhere, broken seats scattered about and no roof !!

Apart from that it's a really decent old stadium..

I assume you can get home tickets online as usual.

Home supporter tickets for this Play-Off fixture will only be sold to those fans who are:

a) Season Ticket holders
b) on the club’s supporter database
c) have a verifiable purchase history with the club (up to May 9, 2022)
d) buy in-person at the ticket office – with proof of a local address.

Yes online from 12th May. Season ticket holders have until Sunday night to keep their seat....

Here's a idea at Swindon away the not having a roof will impact noise so how about the noise generated from the beamback going through a speaker at the County ground .
Only fair the Vale fans deserve be heard .
Them having no roof gives them an advantage in my opinion so thats not on hence my idea

There were less than 300 of us at Swindon earlier in the season and we won despite their thousands and thousands making a noise.

Our favourite away day of the season. Weather good, parked on the old cricket ground (worth a look) and great performance..

We passed you near the magic roundabout.  Eating chips...lol

I've been in the Paddock and Stand for the past 20 years, but the truth is 200 away fans in the Hamil can make more noise than 1000 in the Railway. If you watch any away fan vlogs etc, you just can't hear us.
I'll think 3000+ of us in the Hamil next Thursday will be worth a goal.
You are right about 200 away fans making more noise than the paddock. It does not help when the wind break at the side of the railway is only about 6 feet high. It needs to go right to the roof. I think it would significantly improve the noise levels generated by pv fans.

A more succinct way of putting it is; will ST holders be able to buy tickets for other people, or just themselves? As a ST holder, can I buy my ticket + 3, or just my own?
If the answer is no, and they will have to go to Vale Park with 'proof of address', when why are they getting released at the same time as the away tickets?

The club have been really good at replying to peoples enquiries via Twitter I noticed , I’m sure you can get an answer before Thursday.

For home tickets , It doesn’t mention any limit on tickets or who you are buying for , just that the tickets are sold to a person fitting the criteria. If you receive emails from the club (i seem to) , then I assume that’s ‘on the data base’

Like I say though, the club have been really good at responding.

They just don’t answer the phone. I won’t bother trying to get tickets for the Vale end at Swindon, my best hope is to try and get in the home end.
