Play-offs v Swindon Tickets

Away fans are located in the Arkells Stand at one side of the pitch, where up to 1,200 fans can be housed....Teams with a larger away following can also be allocated the Stratton Bank End if required. A further 2,100 fans can be accommodated in this area, but the end has no cover and is open to the elements.
If they limit us to 1200, it should be reciprocated, and some sort of concourse splitting portable barrier solution implemented to give Vale an extra 3000 Hamil seats, 300 netted off to seperate. Another portable barrier on the car park. Sorted.

For the home tie, why couldn’t we give them the current/open section of the Lorne street and let Vale fans have the hamil end???

It is ridiculous to think that you could have a 12,500 crowd of which 4,500 will be Swindon fans housed in the one stand which produces the best acoustics across the whole stadium. Not much of a ‘home advantage’ is it?

Completely agree with this, be great to pack out the park with just 10% of their fans and the rest Vale!!!

Better to have the 8 ST limit so people aren't turning up with a wad of 20, but can I ask for transparency from the club on Tuesday night as to how many are actually left after sales to hospitality/player's families?

Would help people make informed decisions before having days off work/standing out for hours/travelling long distances. If there's only half left, be honest and tell the fans so a decision can be made. Unsure whether I'll go but can't have a re-run of Exeter.

As a side note, if they can do online sales for home tickets, why can't they do the same for away?

I tend to agree, it took me nearly two and a half hours to get to the ticket office and I queued for well over two hours and a bloke walked out with 18 tickets and then they announced they were sold out and I wouldn’t have minded if all 18 of his mates had turned up instead of tge bloke having their tickets but that is gone now but it should be a lesson learned: I can’t wait for the  queue tomorrow and Wednesday?😅

Look and admire what MK Don's chairman has done. He has restricted Wycombe's allocation to 2000 for the 2nd leg even though they have a circa 30,000 capacity. Brilliant. Are you watching Carol?

I would never admire anything that FC Franchise does.

They’re not going on sale tomorrow now.

I'll be completely honest - I'll be very disappointed if hundreds of tickets get covertly promised to people before ST sale commences on Wednesday.

Just doesn't sit right with me at all. At least be transparent. Brings back bad memories, the 'I'll sort you out matey wink wink' culture.

Be up front. Tell us how many tickets there are. Limit how how many are siphoned off before Wednesday. Give the average ST holder who has been through so much rubbish for 20 years a chance to enjoy a memorable day.

The most straightforward and cost effective way to do this is put them in the Lorne Street to reciprocate their small allocation allowance, Vale pack out the Hamil with access via the Paddock. Away end car park segregated as normal, from there Swindon walk round to the LS. Line of stewards on Bycars lane to segregate that side.

This is perfectly doable with some initiative and common sense decision making. Even segregated off behind the Hamil end for the benefit of the Police (to the detriment of home fans queueing times)

There's absolutely no way Swindon would be allowed in the Railway Stand as mentioned above. The club is being difficult this season about just trying to get bloody Vale fans in there, nevermind an away side.

Not being picky mate but why are the club making it difficult getting vale fans in the stand

I think the Vale board will be in discussions about beaming tge away leg back to Vale park and tickets for that will cover the costs of paying to do it?

Speaking of sides playing silly beggars with ticket allocations, MK Dons have limited Wycombe to 2,000, despite most of the top tier around the whole stadium being empty and the lower tier of the away end being empty. Not only that, they have stuck the 2,000 Wycombe fans in the top tier and split the allocation between two sections.
