Play-offs v Swindon Tickets

Ideally:

  • Beamback for the away leg, same set-up as today (which was very good). Will reduce demand on Wednesday morning and be a good backup for those unfortunate enough to not get tickets, plus revenue for the club
  • Actual tickets available released Tuesday night so people can decide whether to queue. No secret selling to hospitality, only to announce that '1200' are available.
  • Limit Swindon to the same number of away tickets we get given by them, to avoid any disadvantage of Vale Park being a 66/33 split home/away (8700 home, 400 away), and the County Ground being far more in the Swindon's favour of 93/7 (14000 home, 1200 away)

Optimistic:

  • Hamil segregated to limit Swindon to 1200 fans in and the remaining 2000 seats to Vale fans, with a temporary segregation in the concourse + car park and new entry point to the car park for Vale next to the club shop. Will be a massive job to do and get police approval.

Going to be a logistical nightmare, all this. I hope we get it right.

On top of the 1200 tickets, a further 2100 can be made available

Problem would be the entry into the car park - all funnelled in through the same small gap. They could maybe do something to the green fence that runs from the club shop to the wall - Vale fans through there, Swindon through the normal entrance?

Them getting 4000 away and us getting 1200 away would be a bit of a disadvantage.

but just think of the ackers!😊

It’s quite simple, we do not give them a single more ticket than they give us. No way should we give them any sort of even marginal advantage.

2,000 tickets at £25 = £50,000, is it worth turning down?

How would I get a ticket? I have a season ticket but work full time and live in Derbyshire.
For the away game or home leg? If the latter, says you can get online. If the former, you'll either have to come up with your ST or get a mate with a ST who lives round here and can get one for you
