Away supporter tickets for the fixture will go on sale on Wednesday, May 11, at 9am to Season Ticket holders only (prices to be confirmed) – to be purchased in person at the Port Vale ticket office. There will be no online sales for these limited number of tickets.

Individual Season Ticket holders are able to collect a maximum of 8 match tickets on behalf of other Season Ticket holders and must be in possession of those Season Ticket cards.

Tickets for the home leg at Vale Park will go on sale at 9am on Monday, May 9 – to both Season Ticket holders and on general sale – via the Port Vale ticket office and online at port-vale.co.uk/tickets

Season Ticket holders’ seats will be reserved up until midnight on Wednesday, May 11 – after which, tickets for those seats will be released on general sale.

Better to have the 8 ST limit so people aren't turning up with a wad of 20, but can I ask for transparency from the club on Tuesday night as to how many are actually left after sales to hospitality/player's families?

Would help people make informed decisions before having days off work/standing out for hours/travelling long distances. If there's only half left, be honest and tell the fans so a decision can be made. Unsure whether I'll go but can't have a re-run of Exeter.

As a side note, if they can do online sales for home tickets, why can't they do the same for away?

Read it's 1200.

Just googled that myself, 1200 tickets, going to be alot of disappointed fans again. Maybe we can keep hold of thise screens at the vale for another week.

That was my thought. Excellent set-up today, very impressed. 1200 is the same we were given for Exeter, and demand will arguably be higher - and they were sold out within 70 minutes. 1200 didn't make it to ST sales due to a lot already been guaranteed for other supporters.

A combination of an honest appraisal of how many will be on sale on 9am Wednesday, as well as the same streaming set-up as today, would be the best solution to a bad situation (which would be solved by online ticket sales). If fans know the beamback is happening again, you should reduce demand on Wednesday as many will be contented with that.

Away fans are located in the Arkells Stand at one side of the pitch, where up to 1,200 fans can be housed....Teams with a larger away following can also be allocated the Stratton Bank End if required. A further 2,100 fans can be accommodated in this area, but the end has no cover and is open to the elements.

If they limit us to 1200, it should be reciprocated, and some sort of concourse splitting portable barrier solution implemented to give Vale an extra 3000 Hamil seats, 300 netted off to seperate. Another portable barrier on the car park. Sorted.

As you've already alluded to Joe, it will be interesting to see how many are actually available for fans after sponsors, box holders and friends and family take their allocation.

Problem would be the entry into the car park - all funnelled in through the same small gap. They could maybe do something to the green fence that runs from the club shop to the wall - Vale fans through there, Swindon through the normal entrance?

Them getting 4000 away and us getting 1200 away would be a bit of a disadvantage.

There's nothing we can do as it's apparent standard practice, although it does grate a tad on an emotional level. I can understand the logic of 'they put more money in', but it just feels like a different tier of 'fans' to us common folk (especially with the lack of transparency about it).

Either way, I think the club should front up and be honest on Wednesday morning so that people can take an informed risk to queue, instead of booking off work on the belief there's 1200 tickets if there are significantly less.
