Looking at well known free agent strikers from championship and L1 clubs. I wonder if we could interest either of these lads? 

Isaac Vassell - Incredibly still only 28

Sam Winnall 

Saido Berainho - Just the satisfaction of him playing well and scoring goals for us!🤣

  (b)  in respect of League One Clubs and League Two Clubs:

   (i)  any Under 21 Players; and

   (ii)  goalkeepers.

 

Thus 22 not including U21 and goalies

Maybe he’s finally grown up and just wants to find a home to play football.

Probably right though but can you imagine  if he came here and scored 15-20 goals. Socials would meltdown with Stoke fans!

I am dubious about Lowery because he got relegated with Crewe, he is a small player and that needs to be compensated for and there is uncertainty over motivation to come to Vale including wage demands. But if he is signed having been assessed then I would likely conclude he must offer us things we haven't got and be of the quality needed.

Lowery didn't play for a considerable amount of games last season due to a contract dispute. He is fairly well loved by them for his talent. The contract dispute was more down to Artell being a clown as opposed to any greedy or ridiculous demands on behalf of the player himself. As a player I'm told he has the ability to create a lot of time with the ball and has an eye for a goal. There is some footage available on line where he scores a bit of a wonder goal against Salford. I think he has the potential to be a really good signing however just as others have pointed out someone else might be on the way out. If it is someone from midfield then I fear we may be a little disappointed whoever it is.

Miniesta is loved by Crewe fans, they are gutted he's leaving.
Hard working, very creative and deceptively physical for his size, Lowery would add real quality and competition to our midfield.

Give it a rest! Your opinion is as valid as anyone else's - it's opinion until or if it becomes fact! But, it's the pissy little snipes afterwards that people get hacked off about. Remarks like "Burying your head in the sand!" or being a "happy clapper" if we happen to have a more positive opinion - which, frankly, isn't that difficult!
