Not sure we need another player who needs to gain fitness week by week. Showing the patience we have, I’d expect a couple of decent forwards to come in, maybe 1 permanently and one on loan. Hadn’t started a game since 2019 before Burton so surely not who we’re in for?

Ex-Premier league and international footballer who once went for £13.5m? There's no way you can say he doesn't have a bit of class about him and I'd be more than happy for the Vale to sign him.

Quite a lot go for big money and are flops. I know we’ve signed players like this before (Slew). Niasse barely kicked a ball for 3 years. Burton fans not fussed they didn’t offer him a deal on their site. Also describe their recruitment policy as a disaster so imo one to avoid. We’ve been patient I’d expect a better forward to sign.

Yeah big difference clearly but he’s not exactly lit things up (and quite some time ago) They do on Twitter but not on their forum. Just would have hoped for better waiting al this time that’s all.

As long as his attitude was right, it would be madness not to consider him if it's an actual possibility.

If I was you I'd send my CV to Carol because you know more about the recruitment policy than the professionals, you'd would have had all the signings in place now.
