Summer transfer targets/rumours, retained list etc

For me we need sign 2 more players at least. One a forward and another centre back that's decent in the air and tall basically a replacement for Aaron Martin. For me Jones isn't good enough for this level I wasn't really a fan of his last season when he was playing either so I'd let him go. I also think Cass is better as a right wing back than playing right centre back. Hussey I'm not a massive fan of but he is an experienced player so he maybe able help some of the younger players like small, Cass and Robinson. Id probably loan Robinson out aswell once we have worrall and Massey back fit.

I can only presume that it's the medical team that are advising on when players should be rested. I just wonder whether theres too much emphasis placed on 'stats' these days. The number of injuries that we seem to be picking up doesnt really support this rotation strategy. Take cricket, for example, the latest school of thought is that fast bowlers should bowl, not rest, to avoid injuries. I wonder if we are over-thinking it? Just pick your best 11, there's 5 subs who can come on if anyone's flagging!?

Think Grabban would be perfect but can't see us meeting his wage demands.

One idea- given that Stoke seem to be willing to trade with us at last, what about D'Margio Wright-Phillips.

The sentinel reckons they are looking to loan him out now they've hot Delap.

Seeing as turned down a Championship club and ex club at that he's going for the big wedge somewhere. 

Wright Phillips a good shout. Can't profess to knowing anything about him other than he's tiny and quick.

Strange that. I and a couple of others on here got called WUMs by the usuals for suggesting his injury was 6-8 weeks. Crazy that…. Need 3 more forwards. Proctor and Wilson will spend large parts of the season out like last year
