Summer transfer targets/rumours, retained list etc

I wondering now whether the players we are now chasing are tied to clubs considering the length of time it's taking to get deals done at the moment. Surely free agents cant be that choosy now

Big log jam in the Prem,clubs won't let players go until they have replacements, Chelsea and the Toon with money to burn, and so lots of knock-ons

I agree for the GK position. I’ve convinced myself it’s the Ipswich No.2 keeper.

You'd think there was a recall clause in the deal, but not untill January.

If we did sign Lowery be a great signing, really would give us more options in midfield, hope it’s true and we do get him great player.

I guess the focus yesterday was on the behind closed doors friendly with Wigan, so it was unlikely to be a day for signings. They may have used that game to give some potential players a run out too and made a final decision on them. So, it makes sense that now the friendly is out of the way that's there's more chance of a signing being announced.

Well, if car park bag man is still in the frame, he has been training with us since at least last Thursday. Don't see any reason he couldn't sign a deal this morning, do all his videos and interviews before lunch and be announced by 2ish. 

Hladky was on the  bench for Ipswich Saturday, so doubt he will be in by the weekend. I'm not as concerned about the goalkeeping situation as I am keen to get a proper striker in. Stone will be fine till the end of August or till the end of the season if they chose to keep him as a number one.

Probably his agent considering all the options?
