Summer transfer targets/rumours, retained list etc

Oh the beauty of this forum. Those who said I know someone who saw Wilson get off the plane with a protective boot on his foot...another said he was out for 22 weeks.

Then someone says Blackman was the one referred to as a di*khead/let the club down at the last minute.

So many experts/knowalls/referred to me as not liking those who disagreed with my opinion...but so quiet all of a sudden!

I said in the past and I'll say it again...those who speculate and gossip,are the worst types on this forum.

However,it's not all gloom and doom. Wilson may not be out for too long...it'll soon be Matchday and hopefully a decent crowd.

It may or not be sunny... definite possibility. 100% chance it will be or may not. It may rain too,then again...

I think it's quite fair and reasonable to think both ways. Undoubtedly we have missed out on 1 or 2 targets  but I think its obvious we are also playing a patient game to land specific targets which also suggests a confidence a deal will be done.

I would suggest the GK situation is a case in point reading between the lines of todays presser.

It's literally a rumours thread on a messageboard. I wasn't aware everything posted had to be signed off by Reuters before it got posted?

My post re Blackman was my guess on the situation, based on the position we're in 2 days ahead of the season. No facts & not signed off by Reuters, DazFred.

I will not be too fussed if we have no keeper on the bench for Saturday. I can’t remember the last time a Vale keeper got injured and had to go off. Listening to some on here is like listening to an annoying parrot.

Look, I am hoping we do get someone in I really do. I’m just so racked off with all this continual stating of the obvious, like as if DC has suddenly gone “keeper blind”. It’s a wise thing to wait, and get exactly what you want. I’m sure if some on here were waiting for the Talke Pitt’s bus they would jump on the Joiners Square one just because it was big and red.

Only kidding you. I expect current management know what they're doing. Need to get better players than we have. Easier said than done!
