Forrester obviously falls into the “highly rated” camp rather than being a ready made first team player but interesting to see many of our neighbours down the road do seem to rate the lad.

Nothing official from the club yet, but if/when he signs does this mean they’re now our feeder club……..? 🤔

I hope there’s no arrangement to repay the favour when we’re in the Championship and they’re in League 1.

How can they be our feeder club when we are signing players they want to keep. I would say we are competing against them and winning in signing him.

We have that trialist, who could end up earning a contract, maybe as a third choice keeper.

It’s not as pressing an issue as at least one more striker coming in now Willow is out.  Massey not prolific.  McDermott completely untested.  Not saying either couldn’t do a job short term but we needed strikers before the injury to JW made it vital.

Would imagine it’ll be quite generous. Either that or maybe they’ve got some sort of buy-back clause so they have first refusal if we sell him? The deal will no doubt be undisclosed as almost all of them are nowadays.

I don’t think it’s that simple.  Anyway I like feeder club myself, so I’ll use that when referring to them in future, if that’s OK with you.

Yes beleave they are getting the turnstiles removed from the paddock once we exchange leagues as they be sufficient for there actual true fan base.

Does make me wonder what the make up of our defence  will be Saturday. I would suggests its our strongest phase of the pitch and I had Cass-Smith-Hall nailed on for the back three, but is Forrester going to drop down a league without assurances around his game time? He's right footed so suggests Cass may drop to the bench. Certainly not going to be concerned if we get any injuries in that area, Dan Jones is probably the weakest centre back now and even he could hold his own in league one.

It doesn’t matter what team he supports. It’s a career and lads make decisions about future employment prospects.

How do you know we don’t already have a player on the books whose family supports Stoke?

I now fans don’t like it but it’s a job for players.

I've also heard through the grapevine that the process are pretty keen on the Dutch trialist we had, could be one of the next through the door. Good move as a back up for Hall. I think we will look to bring in another LWB and potentially move Hussey on.

how i view it. forrester seems be able play in all 3 positions so will get plenty games.
