We need at least 5 or 6, especially when teams can now bring on 5 subs and with Wilson out. What are we going to do when we're chasing a game? Bring on Hussey?

Quite why we let players leave before securing their replacements baffles me.

Also, I hope McDermott won't be pushed in to the first team squad before he's ready just because of a lack of bodies. Lad needs a good loan spell.

Yes, if we signed <ovf censored> players. As frustrating at it is, we simply must wait and see who the players are we bring in before passing judgment. It will not only define this season, but the next one as well.

If the players identified are not within our budget, and others would not improve the quality of the squad, in my view, the management is right to wait.

think it will explain where people's arguments come from. is it a genuine belief that late business is better or more just defending whatever the club does without personal opinion coming into it. if its the latter then theres no point having the discussion.

blackman, lowery, walker, massey all good with me. lowery and walker would be outstanding but don't think wed get them. wouldn't mind hladky. massey good at rwb. would like a young cb too to backup smithy.

Last season we were bringing players who may have to play in L1, this season are we buying players who may have to play in the Championship? I think not.

think it will explain where people's arguments come from. is it a genuine belief that late business is better or more just defending whatever the club does without personal opinion coming into it. if its the latter then theres no point having the discussion.

How have you reached that conclusion when, I presume, you've never seen him play a competitive game?
