We all Vale aren't we the clubs doing all it can bring in players for the new campaign .
Patience is the key
Can see both sides of the argument we do need players but not average ones that's for sure .
After the way the club has been run by Carol and the team the least we can do is give them chance to do what needs doing and looking in the grounds being improved we are selling season tickets and folk genuinely want to be at the Vale this coming season to watch them .
All good just a few signings (6)will hopefully increase the buzz significantly over the coming week.
Vale will only rise if everyone sticks together the players and management did to secure us first division football now we have to do our bit turn up make a noise a deafening one and encourage us to go further than you could possibly imagine .

Hopefully someone will be able to livestream the fans forum to youtube and stick the link on here as it seems Vale won't be.

Someone said on that facebook group earlier that according to the builders installing the turnstiles, the long term plan is knocking down the ancient family stand and building a new players gym and Championship+ ready media suite in that space. When the LS concourse is finished that corner by the childrens centre will be the new family stand.

I’d also heard viewing area on top to watch training / reserve games

That would be a good use for the family stand corner of the ground. I'd like to think that it'd be designed to be future proof to easily allow improvements to the Railway Stand and Bycars in the more distant future.

If it's all true, all that space could also be exploited for revenue generation. Above a ground floor gym (and from what was said on facebook a live TV studio), we could consider more matchday hospitality areas or rentable facilities with full height windows overlooking the pitch. New video scoreboard on the structure's roof.

Can’t believe Darrell, Carol & Colin will all be attending the fans forum tonight. With less than a fortnight to go before the season kicks off and they think by schmoozing the fans they are going to placate us, oh no! They should be knocking on doors, making calls, wining and dining agents.
(irony never works on here)
