On average, I'd say it's at the top end of League One.

 

Given the way the rosters are built you get the standout stars of Bale, Beckham, Rooney etc but there is also some Godawful players in there too.

I think Chris Birchall and David Beckham played for LA Galaxy at the same time. As has been said, rosters include high quality players playing alongside dross, like David Beckham.

Made some unreal saves while on loan at Bradford last season. The Walsall one from the top of my head so unbelievable.

I have got a vision of Stoke signing lots of players but still having a bit of a soft underbelly. In my opinion, as we saw when we lost to them, you have to be 100% up for the physical capabilities of Bristol Rovers and also their quite skilful gamesmanship.

Nah I can't see this one either. He's a relatively young goalkeeper with no experience in L1.We already have a very very good one young keeper at a similar age in Stone. This one makes no sense to me.

For his sake I actually hope he does and proves us wrong, a good player for us and very influential that will be missed, same could go for  Taylor too on his day. I don’t wish either of those ill or want to run them down. Players picking up injuries can’t be helped, but IMO every player in the squad should be aiming to hit at least 40 appearances a season IMO across all competitions, as I think that’s a respectable figure. Even though Gibbo got over 30 for us last season, and if I was either of those 2  players I’d be happy to build up my appearance tally at my new club by hitting 40 this season.

I was surprised to hear in the recent Spain interview that we only have 17 contracted players on the books. That figure really surprised me. Let’s hope we get some good news this week with players coming in.

Maybe nitpicking a bit, but what did we do wrong with Gibbo? We wanted to keep him and I am sure made him a decent offer that was within the age constraints of the club. That he moved on for either cash or just becuase he fancied a new challenge is his business. I hope we finish above both of them to prove them wrong!

I hear that the offer we made him wasn't that good - and that he would have been nowhere near the highest paid player at the club if he'd signed. Whether that's fair with his injury record or whether DC wanted him out anyway (I've also heard rumours about his antics off the pitch), who knows. We'll have to wait 10/15 years for DC's autobipgraphy to find out. Either way, he's not at the club anymore and we move on.
