Is Telford a good signing though? He's kind of been a half season wonder so far, scored loads before Xmas, then the goals really dried up.

Can only really comment on seeing him against Vale. At Newport's place he was largely anonymous but than scored a terrific goal which turned the game in their favor. At Vale he was more involved and looked a really neat footballer but didn't score if memory serves me right.

Scored 25 goals with 3 assists for Newport last season but his goal return has never been close to that in the previous 5-6 seasons he's played so I guess who knows if he will repeat that for his next club.

In the ca 60's/70's some players used to score regularly at one club and would do the same at another club in Divisions 3 and 4 (as they were know as then) but the goals would dry up if they moved up to Divisions 1 or 2. To  me scoring consistently for different lower league clubs doesn't seem to be the case anymore although I have no stats to back it up.

Vale had a few of this type of player who scored regularly in Div 3 and 4 for different clubs, Roy Chapman, Bert Llewellyn, Tony Richards, Ernie Moss and Ken Beamish etc.

Easy enough to analyse all his goals this season on how they came about and consider if useful to the Vale based on his wage demands.  All that is left is a personality check and commitment to the cause.

He has a good record at Stevenage tbf

I still dont think Telford is heading here but its nice to speculate and we do need 2 strikers in if Proc signs on again

List has done well last couple of seasons wouldn't be surprised if he stepped up to League One, we aren't too badly stocked for attacking midfielders though(unless he's a winger?)

He's a right winger I believe, and scored 9 league goals and 3 more in the cups.
