8700 home fans in a ground With 20,000 seats in and it’s sold out, what a joke

Needs sorting

Why has the Lorne St capacity been cut too? Against Burton and Northampton a few seasons ago, every seat was filled, yet todays ‘sell-out’ had dozens of visibly empty seats. The exits, the concourse, the facilities are identical to when we could fill it, so why the restrictions?

So many questions tonight.

How can a team that looked like world beaters after Hartlepool collapse into a shambolic shower clinging to the playoffs?

Will that be the last home game for Smith and Gibbo?

Has Worrall got it, or is he just not up to being a wing back?

How has Hussey got 4 promotions from league 2, when he looked like he'd never kicked a ball before today?

A home capacity of 8700, WTF?

I'd be interested to hear why a stadium that can hold 19,000 is sold out at 8,700?

I get the unfinished Lorne St stand will reduce that 19,000 down, but not by 10,000!

Not a gripe, just intrigued!

Why can we ‘safely’ accommodate 25,000 for a RW concert, but only 14,700 for a football game?

10,000 on the pitch

Next season there will be another twenty teams who fail to bring more than 300 and will be sat in a stand which can house 4,500 and have better facilities than the railway and paddock. The club really need to look at the option of having half and half in the Hamil end for me. Other clubs do it up and down the country so why can’t we? It’s a wasted stand in league two.

You’ve missed my point. The restrictions we’ve seen today relate to the lack of proportional facilities such as toilets, exits, turnstiles, so how will it be safe for 25,000 to use the same facilities deemed unsafe for 14,700 football fans? So proportionally there will be even less facilities per attendee.
