Good bounce back for South Africa tonight.

Thought Roy and Livingstone were poor.

Roy has got to watch himself, really struggling for form and Salt is very dangerous in this format. Got the two lads at Somerset as well who are class so Roy needs a score Sunday. Good side SA some very good players on the side line as well, 200+ with de kock hitting nothing again is very good

While it has its controversial side and a lot of the cricket purists hate it. I've enjoyed the odd 100 game over the past week

Ali , Livingstone and Malan really good batting in the games and there's some decent young players who a got a shine

The weird colour scoring system on telly and those crisps sponsored kits have to go though. Never thought I'd seen PomBear sponsor a sports team i have to admit

Don’t think can say there is much England can take from this defeat. Pretty comprehensive to say the least. This is the other side of Bazball if it doesn’t come off. Not sure what good it’s doing keeping Crawley in that lineup, it’s not his fault alone this defeat but he simply doesn’t look technically capable of putting an innings together.

SA are an impressive outfit though certainly with the ball.

Crawley needs dropping everybody knows that but for some strange reason they keep persisting with him. I think we need take foakes out aswell or play an extra batter and have foakes at 7 as he isn't good enough to bat 6. We also need to add some real speed to our attack so maybe worth taking out one of broad Anderson or Potts and replace them with a quicker bowler maybe somebody like Toby Roland Jones.

Impressive performance with the ball by England so far. Helpful conditions this morning but at Old Trafford and naming two spinners I understand why SA batted first. Just hope England don’t fall into the trap have seen them do before and start bowling short at the tail constantly or set the field back for the established batsman.

Better performance from England, still major issue with the bat IMO. Anderson is fantastic and Robinson if he can stay fit is a brilliant bowler in English conditions. Still don’t think Leach is close to this level, old Trafford is great for spinners yet completely ineffective, at least he kept the runs down i suppose. Lees looks a decent player to me but needs some runs. Crawley did ok but still shouldn’t be near this 11 and I still don’t think Pope is a number 3. Personally I’d still like to see Brook into this side and maybe Compton (not in as good form now I know) in for Crawley. Or even Brook in for Crawley. Much better batting from Stokes, not throwing his wicket away and showing his class.
