If he buys the club, which I think he will then it will be great and a justification for SEO as without it, he may never have got the opportunity.

If he does not buy the club, he will go down as a boasting grandstander who talked a good game but ultimately delivered sod all. No different to Bratt or any of the others if he fails to deliver the goods now. Show me the MOney!

I know you are passionate as we all are but that's harsh in the extreme.

He tried to invest in the right way and produced a superb business plan with an excellent CEO in waiting. He was treated worse than a leper.

He has since moved on to another, admittedly smaller project, but will have tied capital up all the same and this will take time to bear fruit.

I'm sure he will be assessing the opportunity at the moment and would love nothing more than to take on the Vale and make us a success but could anybody really blame him if he chose not to.

Now is the time to find and support the right man / men / women to take the club forward with a long term sustainable business plan and a dynamic team.

i'm fairly confident that mo will come forward and attempt to buy the club . there are a number of factors which may cause problems though , one being that the council hold a veto on any potential deal.

I think the council would be foolish not to listen to the fans preferred choice though, that's if there is a choice?

Good points. The previous bid was really strong and I hope Mo is using this time to develop something of similar quality for the benefit of the club. Another part of me feels worried that too much of the post-bid fall out focused on how good he was and how stupid the board were for turning him down, rather than being gutted for missing out on the club.

I don't doubt Mo's capability or capacity to deliver successful outcomes..he has a proven track record..but who wants to bankroll another season is league 2 when we have a real chance of strong league 1 football if the investment came now.

Heard the administrator on RS earlier. He was saying along the lines of when the club was bought out of admin last time it cost £1.2m.But now the club is in a lower league, there is less money in football now than there was then, plus a lot of people are now on hard times with less money etc.But wasn't it around £1.2m that Mo was going to put in earlier and was then accused of trying to get the club on the cheap. So

Was Mo really trying to get the club on the cheap?

Was it another poor excuse from the people who didn't want Mo?

Would the same people accept £1.2m now?
