So, despite all the hand wringing for years that our ground is too big, it seems based on the sentinel, our home capacity is only 10,500 due to reductions!

If we go up, it must be time to open the new Lorne Street end for financial reasons alone?

And the old family stand needs reopening.

That can’t be hard? I sat there maybe in the last league 1 season? Never felt too bad to me and I liked the view. Facilities shocking, but getting out wasn’t a problem. Yes the steps were a bit wonky, but aside from the dodgy roof, it seems like an area of the ground that could be easily developed.

Very surprised at the low Newport figure. They are not that tinpot a club. I expected them to bring at least 1k given the importance of this. Sky or not.

It’s a dead rubber for them. They can’t make the play offs.

If only we'd of beat Walsall, today would of been a promotion party.

Massive game, just hope we don't freeze under the pressure of a decent gate and the added extra of the cameras.

Come on Vale.

If ONLY my uncle was my auntie as the saying goes....😁👌

You're kidding mate they'd of only brought a 1000 if they could of still made the play offs.

Apart from the fact a few extra fans traditionally go to the last away game they must be barmy to travel up here for an absolute nothing game after their late season collapse.

For those with an interest (ME 😁), the line on a Vale win is dropping rapidly....

1/1 a few days ago....

NOW as low as 7/10....

Newport just shy of 4/1....

Bookies can't split Salford v the Stags, 13/8 each generally.....

It's GOOD Salford still have the slight possibility of the play offs so won't be on the beach at least!!

12.30 KO at Salford BTW....

I’ve looked at the L2 tables for last 10yrs and ignoring the curtailed season, all but two have required 80+pts, many as high as 84/85pts.

We were lucky then when we went up under Adams with 78 points, and Gills topped it with 83

Like a dabble myself. And invested in us at 18/1 each way.

Current odds. Obviously they'll alter after today's 2 games.

We're generally 10/3 to clinch that third spot this morning......

That will be circa in to 23/10 should we win today......

That being our general price to win at Exeter of course.....
