Yeah well done everyone but it’s 2022 not 1954 and I’d much rather have a competent ticketing system than applaud people who can camp out overnight.

I have very little confidence that my ticket that’s being saved for me will still be there when I turn up.

Hopefully next season we will be in a League with bigger grounds.

It's on twitter there were only 400 available due to selling to the box holders first.

Annoying.

Disgusting if true. There aren't 500 box holders at Vale. There were 1100 tickets and 2-300, maximum, were sold by mistake by Exeter.

Proper diehards have been done over here, queueing for 2+ hours for tickets that had already been sold on the quiet. FWIW, I was never going.

My son was there at 7.30am queuing, ticket office opened at 9am, all tickets gone just after 10am with him a few yards from the door. Frustrating! 😩

He must have being standing by my nephew same thing happened to him .

Gutted for him and all others who haven't got a ticket especially the ones who go away regularly like me nephew and lad and mates .

Great support though selling out great job .

Haven't mentioned it Walsall and Hartlepool have though so I take it theres some left for them .

This has been coming all season.

People lapping up having to stand on a carpark for 3 hours just to get a ticket for away matches and accepting it because someone brings you a hot drink. They've handed out 'Loyal supporters' scarves this morning to people who they told 15 minutes later to go home because it'd sold out. Talk about egg on face.

And now, many people who have supported the club through thick and thin and have travelled up and down the country in good times (and more importantly bad) miss out on potentially the biggest game in a decade.

Impose a loyalty scheme asap. We cannot have 5k+ ST holders who are all treated 'equally'. I say 'equally' because clearly today many tickets have been reserved before they went on sale to 'normal' ST holders and it stinks. One point per ticket purchased (home and away) running over a 3-5 year period. Then sell tickets in batches as per loyalty points. Smaller allocation, more loyalty points needed to get to the front of the queue. It's so, so easy and something nearly all other clubs in the EFL have in some form.

Quite frankly, the ticketing at Port Vale is worse than it was under Norman and V2001. And if that's not embarrassing enough to kick the club into some action here then I'm not sure what is.

Gutted and choked up I didn't get my tickets. 30 Mike trip to Vale, got there 0740am. 1005am told sold out. There HAS to be a fairer way of ticketing especially to fans (like me ) who have attended a vast number of away games too. Please Vale get out of this horrid Division so we can see more decent allocations of away game tickets. I am fed up!

Agree with what you are saying mate. Rumours of people reserving tickets and buying before they went on sale is a joke. Real poke in the eye for anyone that queued this morning as We did. The only thing is that the allocation is not actually vales fault they can only sell whet they are given. Another reason we need to get out of this division.

Spot on. 👏👏

I love the new owners but they really haven’t got to grips with the ticketing issue. The current system is archaic and belongs in the 1950’s.

Let’s hope it’s a dead rubber which will then bring me some comfort.

I just hope we don’t end up playing Exeter, FGR or Sutton in the playoffs semis else there’ll be another fiasco!
