All teams are feeling the pinch with injuries now.  I noticed Oates didn’t feature for Mansfield at the weekend.  You could see the difference when Wozz went off on Saturday, it completely unbalanced the team.

If we keep everyone fit and then manage 4 wins I think we’ll finish in the autos.

I was very surprised by the substitution to be honest when Wozza came off and I thought Amoo was nailed on to be the replacement.However,things turned out to be OK.

I don’t subscribe to the narrative Mansfield are favourites with a more favourable run in.

As it stands we have the points in the bag with a superior goal difference - we are the favourites.

The pressure is on Mansfield to win EVERY game until the end of the season. We don’t need to.

At this stage of the season every game is really tough to win. The only game a potential gimmie is Crawley home match. Mansfield still have to have 2 weeks of 2 games a week which may also take its toll.

Nice graphic that. BUT, I don't buy it. For example I know that Oldham, for example have got to play Northampton and FGR but are playing very well (as we found out last week!) and playing for their lives - so they could upset some applecarts.

As for us, I see no one in this league to fear and think no one wants to play us - certainly at Vale Park.

Let's just take one game at a time and play what's before us. I think we'll finish second or third and the best season we've had in years, and what Carol and the club rightly deserve.

SUTTON [H]...........Sutton still a good chance of the play offs.

CARLISLE [A]...........Nothing to play for but have been on a decent run recently.

The Stevenage game also has the Steve Evans factor, he will be desperate not to lose there. Vale to finish 3rd, top 3 to stay as it is.

I’ve gone for play offs but if we beat Rovers on Monday I think we will get automatic, even if we lose to Hartlepool today. We were quite lucky to win at Rovers in the end when they had 9 men, everyone keeps on about Mansfield but I think Rovers are a bigger threat.
