All the hairs on the back at my neck up at end, tears in my eyes. Vale weren’t great on the day, who cares but the fans were sensational before,during and after.

The best away day for a very very very long time.

We had a great club but Kevin and Carol have made this club really special. I’ve never been so proud to be a supporter.

Recruitment is a funny old game and you're never gonna get it 100% right (cooper and holy spring to mind from jan) , but the rest have all played a massive part in getting us too where we are. Massive credit to Tommy Johnson and Flickers.

I wouldn't bet on FGR at those odds. Luckily for them in amassing so many points early doors, they'll probably just scrape it, but it's hard to believe that we're only 4 points off them now

After the Colchester game we were 18 points behind FGR.Now we are 4. They have 10 points from the last 7 games,we have 25 from 9.

The thing that's getting to me is good people don't usually win. I'm not used to it. It's normally the schemers and the back-stabbers and the selfish that come out on top. This feels like more than a (possible) promotion, it feels like proof that you can be decent and do the right thing and look after people and treat them well, and then come out on top.

I love John Rudge more than some members of my own family and it was incredible to get promoted twice to the championship but I think this (if it happens) will be my favourite promotion. It feels like a victory for good.
