I am another who couldn’t make it today because of family commitments. Was it tense? Just sitting south of Stockport now having a couple of jugs, it tastes like nectar. Common you mighty Whites

Just glad of the 3 points,it was closer than it should have been, their first goal we had plenty of chances to clear the ball.

second goal was never a free kick Stone didn’t handle out of his area, thought we were hanging on at the end, they didn’t look like a team in the bottom 3.

Oldham will be annoyed they got nothing from that game - so they will know how we felt at their place!  Both games could have been draws but as it happens we’ve each got an extra point!

We were poor today, especially defensively. Job done though and move onto next game. Thought their diving was a disgrace, that number 10 in front of the railway was maybe the worst acting I’ve ever seen.

Er yep. It was an all over the place game.  Where we went from the sublime to the ridiculous at times.  Massively entertaining for a neural, totally sphincter challenging for a Vale fan. Thankfully we got the result.  Great turn out.   Probably edged it, just.  And it is one we would have blown in the past.

Didn't play well at all but got the points. Kept giving the ball away especially garrity. Thought stone was lucky not to be sent off. Hanging on at the end but we dug in. Vale will be the death of me.

I too would like them to stay up but their cheating, diving, horrid tactics of crowding the ref for every time they fell to the floor was disgraceful.
