Match Thread: Barrow v Port Vale

massive massive blow if Garrity is not in - we are more than able to cope with changes, but he and Pett are the heart of the midfield - not good, but good to see Jake Taylor back in - bit of Gamesmanship from AC yesterday as he was hinting JT was only just returning to training.
Also massive opportunity for Amoo - to be fair, anyone who has grabbed a shirt lately has pulled up trees to keep it

To be honest, I don't think it was gamesmanship. Even with Taylor we can only name 6 subs so it's probably necessity rather than trying to hoodwink Barrow

With Conlon and Pett already ruled out, the last one we could afford to lose was Garrity.  If he was injured in training, what on Earth is going on.... that is all of our (probable) best midfield three missing now.  He should have been wrapped in cotton wool all week.

442 or 433

Nah. 343 all day long

RS saying 343 as well. I hope we have done a lot of work on it since that horrible run of performances playing that way.

He’s been struggling with an injury for a few games. Maybe just rest him with an eye on Tuesday and Saturday next week.

4-4-2 for me with Smith at RB. In which case Charsley and Walker isn’t the worst midfield pairing playing with two wide men. We shall see how much ‘better’ we turn out to be with a flat back 4….

3-4-1-2 for me with Willo playing the Garitty role

Same formation as for Carlisle with Willo dropping deep. Worked well when we had more of the ball. Big day for Charsley.

Don't think we'll start like that but could change it if things aren't working. Good spot

yes good spot - that was one of our best performances of the season
