I heard it, the guy is puddled. Well I say that, if you spout on for as long as he did I suppose it’s a sure fire way of avoiding the more ‘testing questions’ about his own/ his teams shortcomings.

OK, I have delved deep and I have found something Crawley's manager can take from the game. They passed the ball 398 times as against our 376.

You pour scorn on other posters comments, but do you ever contribute anything remotely constructive??
You and a couple of others seem to have created a new subset of contributors who moan about the moaners! Incredible.

The moaners can moan but don’t care to be moaned at… funny world

Personally I hate the new temporary speakers. It’s about 10 yards away from our seats and we can’t have a chat pre match or halftime because it’s so loud.

Happy it’s the only think I can moan about today.

Yes, the equaliser undoubtedly lifted us. I felt we’d started so slowly, pedestrian almost, but after their goal, whilst we looked a bit shocked, maybe at the manner in which we conceded, we upped the tempo to match that of the opposition, albeit we still looked disjointed until our goal.

On a slightly different note, well done to the singers in the Bycars today, seemed to be far more than usual.  There also seemed to be more fans sat over towards the old Family Stand side of the Bycars.  No idea if this really was the case or just how it looked as I walked along the concourse to the gents powder room.

Darrell Clarkes black and white army repeatedly...loved it. More of the same on Tuesday! And the same result!

Perhaps this is Carl who rings in on Radio Stoke...

Im with you here Biddulph, but are you in danger of creating another sub-section of moaning about the moaners who moan about other moaners😂👍

Re Yems - his pre and post match interviews are absolute classics - makes Victor Meldrew look positively chipper.

Surely “It’s a forum” as an defence really falls down when you use it to stop people having an opinion on your opinions?!?!

Surely it’s quite simple:

You absolutely should have your own opinion.

You are free to post it on here whenever you want.

Given that “It’s a forum”… it’s the court of popular opinion. Everyone’s views are their to be pulled apart, interrogated and challenged.

So if you sound like Carl from Praise and Grumble in 99% of your posts, people should absolutely be free to point that out.

If we were in a pub after the game and you were expressing the negative side of EVERY topic of discussion, people would tell you to cheer up and stop being a moaning arse… not quite sure why people believe this method of discussing the vale gives them immunity from people disagreeing with them!

If he spent a little less time repeatedly using the phrase "harem scarem" and 5 seconds googling the rules of the game, he might not come across as such a plank.
What the muppet doesn't realise is that some Vale fans have been blind from birth and rely on a concise commentary, pity the DDA act can't be realised for the juvenile rubbish he
Spouts all the time we lose the thread, he's always way behind the action and play, then puts his and whoever is also waffling too, their opinion, George Andrews I recall was the best ever, so radio S, either get this boy some training or replace him, the commentary is dire, switching to the opposition commentary sometimes is better, but no always as this is the BBC , ......I'll get of me box

Brilliant post. I agree entirely. And when people’s views are pulled apart, interrogated and challenged in a sensible and considered way, this forum will be much the better for it.

We currently have the best GD (+16) in the top 10 positions apart from FGR. Could be vital come season's end!

Funny that, given that how we've apparently got no goals in this team, can't keep a clean sheet, and have the worst keepers in the league

I know, but nevertheless it could yet be a deciding factor in the final play off places!

Same with the challenges the club faces … doesn’t it get annoying when Carl goes on P&G and is just overly negative all the time declaring the season to over and everyone to be rubbish?

I’m here, don’t worry. I haven’t been today (typically) due to family circumstances and so (despite being a season ticket holder and supported Vale for 35 years) that doesn’t permit me to comment according to some on here.

Great win for the lads and listening intermittently to Bowers & Sproson it sounded like we started off poorly but grew into the game after a fortuitous (?) equaliser then never really looked back.

I would say that, as @Bycarsbillsuggested today was vindication for what me and some of the other “moaners” have been saying, we’ve been underperforming by playing too cautiously and when we actually go after teams, we find out that we can score and beat them!! Who knew?!

Anyway, onwards and (hopefully) upwards…

I try to be objective and balanced in my comments, whether it's to compliment or to moan!

I thought we started slow but worked to get back in to it and once we got the equaliser we were in control.
A good performance and good win.
Sets us up nicely for a massive game Tuesday!

At least the season isn’t over until Tuesday now.

Last week we had people saying sack the interim manager, the season is over and I had lots of replies telling me I didn’t know what I was on about because I dared to suggest that the season wasn’t over as we were only 4 pts off the playoffs with plenty of games left. I was the unrealistic one to think we would ever win again. You can’t have sensible and considerate discussion when toys are getting thrown out of the park after 1 loss in 10
