We just don't seem able to kill sides off when we have most of the play.

Opposition know how to play against us and know we are a side that don't take our chances.

Another year by the looks of it in this league as we have drawn too many games.

Gibbons injured again. Unbelievable.

Not much players can do about impacts like that though. Hopefully it’s just a whack on the ankle.

Very surprised by our hoofball tactics tonight, we looked dangerous through our wingbacks and didn’t need to resort to just launching it. Especially when you consider we had no striker on who’s good in the air.

6 draws from 9. Bottling the games in hand. Not gaining any ground. We've taken 5 points from 9 against bottom half opposition. It's OK, but not promotion. We've had serious chances to get back into the top 7 and thrown it away.

Diabolical first half salvaged by a competent second half. Gibbons has assisted 4 out of our last 5 goals and was concerning to see him limping about for the last few minutes as literally no one else came close to creating anything. We are James Gibbons FC and the season is reliant on his fitness. If he goes down, we might as well call it a day.

We sit here with 3 goalkeepers indistinguishable in their averageness but a dearth of creativity. Wing-backs galore but a very thin forward line. I feel we had a real chance of autos this season but a dodgy January has cost us.

Still in the race for 6th/7th but we need to improve dramatically.

Hope Gibbo is ok, looked like he was limping at the end but seemed more of an impact injury. On the subject of injuries Worralls got either an amazing pain threshold or powers of recovery as I thought looking at him on Saturday he was done for a few weeks.

Suppose it keeps the unbeaten run going at least. If we get a win at Colchester then 7 from 9 is pretty good. Definitely want to be seeing Charsley start Saturday.

Sorry nowhere near good enough that.
Unlucky from Wilson at the end fantastic effort. 2nd half was better, a bit of urgency but results like this do not equal promotion. 2 points from Rochdale and Harrogate is pretty dreadful.

No idea why the tactic is always hoofball and why we have to play 3 centre backs all the time.

If we had beaten these two we would be 4th. Just throwing it away.

Im a bit disappointed we kept gibbo on at the end just to hobble about.

Issue is our games in hand have now essentially gone. Exeter and Mansfield now have games in hand on us.

We should be 4th now just wasting games.

That first half was dreadful and whoever thinks that tactic is the way to go needs talking to.

I know I’ll get stick here. But Scott brown is better than our 3 keepers. Holy is dreadful.

Overall it wasn’t a great watch once again, although the effort at the end was heartening. Watched on I follow tonight and gotta say, not looking forward much to Colchester on Saturday. I’ve got tickets, but a long journey to watch the recent turgid tripe isn’t filling me with joy.

None of us thought we would be seeing Worrall in a Vale shirt tonight when he was helped off the pitch at the weekend as he couldn't bear weight on it.

As you say hopefully Gibbo will be okay at the weekend.
