We were by far the better team tonight. Proctor was a real nuisance to their defence and nobody particularly had a bad game. True fans believe until their very last breath, the negativity astounds me. When we need that winner in injury time in a few games time and when that ball hits the back of the net, you can guarantee a load of the posters on here will already be in their cars trying to phone radio Stoke to say how rubbish we were. I know everyone is entitled to an opinion but some really love to lambast, belittle and bemoan. What’s wrong with a bit of belief and optimism?

It’s not negatively- it’s realism

I thought we were dreadful. Better than them, yes. But that performance was in no way acceptable.

Being a bit better than they were is hardly something to feel ecstatic about.

Some pathetic comments on here !
We weren’t dire, we did enough to win the game, they scored with their one and only chance just be realistic it’s football it happens !
All the total negative comments from the usuals on here, there’s nothing in between with some of you , if we win we’re fantastic if we lose we’re absolute rubbish !!
Totally surprised why some spend so much time on here you should be plotting your way to the Champions League Final with all your superior tactical knowledge!
It’s League 2 , get over yourselves and back your team to do their best .
One mistake has cost us, it’s unfortunate, it’s not the end of the the world !
Easy to criticise after the event, too many ‘Captain Hindsights’ on here  , try doing the job yourselves, oh yeh right , you wouldn’t know where to start !!

I think the pitch played a huge part in an awful game and performance BUT

Why don’t we attack teams?

Why do we always play the ball sideways and backwards in transition allowing opposition to get back in shape ?

Why do we continue to play not to loose?

Why can’t we concentrate for a full game at the back?

Why do we have to play 3 CBs every <ovf censored> game?

Season increasingly looks over.

Absolutely bang on. I wouldn't have believed it either. Not seeing out games has been our undoing all season. Tranmere at home, Sutton away, Oldham away, Salford at home & now Rochdale away. 14 points literally thrown away in the dying seconds of games (Tranmere at home we hit woodwork about 4 times)

It's simply not good enough, we're mentally very very weak. The fans know it & the players know it. I purposely didn't look at my phone for the last 30 mins until I knew it was full time, as I knew we'd blow another lead. Low & behold, 93rd minute. Piss poor Vale. Sick of it. Absolute bore fest.

Bang on as well mate. Regardless of how we’re playing there’s become an expectancy that we’ll throw the game away somehow. There’s no winning mentality. That’s on the players and staff I’m afraid.

I can take it when it happens on the odd occasions but it’s happening every month.

It’s a huge failure that we are 10th. We brought in this management team and recruited this squad for promotion. No body can tell me any different.

Mate I do agree - we missed big Jamie when he went off as the nuisance factor disappeared. I'm always positive but the amount of winning positions we have let slip can't be ignored - still think we will be play offs though 👍😁

It is a good point, I think Hussy is a great player. But our priorities were completely wrong in January. Sign two young lads on loan up top, sign a quality player in a position where we were more than stronger enough (where is Benning) sign a 3rd keeper which we blatantly didn’t need. Bad window which me and others called out at the time. No idea why people though players like Cooper would fire us to promotion. The whole window just reminds me of a Michael Brown window. Sign a <ovf censored> load of players, most on loan and hope they do well.

Admittedly I thought Cooper might have a goal in him from his record. But yeah, the fact that he scored some goals in Ireland in a league in which probably has the members of B*Witched making appearances along with Shane MacGowan, doesn't say much at all I suppose.
