The last times we've scored more than 1 goal in a game was against Carlisle (2nd bottom) and Bristol Rovers (9 men and in 2021).

Wilson is a 1 in 4 man who reminds me more and more of Louis Dodds, and Proctor is getting up to speed and has never hit double figures in his entire career.

We have two lads on loan, one of which wasn't on the bench and the other didn't get on and have two league goals between them for us, to reinforce - whilst we pay the wages of three professional goalkeepers who are indistinguishable in their averageness. Thank God the salary cap wasn't breached, mind!

A proper forward was needed but we've signed a competition winner on the left wing to replace Politic, signed Garrity 2.0 to warm the bench, and have put Aidan Stone on the stretching rack and told him to grow a beard to pass it off as a new GK.

Daft, daft transfer policy in January, I'm sorry.

Another piss poor late  goal away from home, we have no chance getting in the playoffs if we keep playing like that.

Difficult pitch I get it but that is <ovf censored> <ovf censored> and completely unacceptable if we have any ambitions.

Another <ovf censored> <ovf censored> performance.

Teams who want success do not keep conceding late goals away from home.

That was dire. They were the worst side I’ve seen at this level. Gave us the ball all game, the one attack they have they score.

We were awful. Negative again, sitting on leads, it Dosent work. We’ve dropped what 20 points from winning positions now?

Cooper is hopeless, nowhere near a league 2 player. Charsley did more in the 5 minutes he was on. What’s happened with Wilson again? Brilliant against Carlisle and then pretty rubbish since. Anonymous today and missed another sitter at the end like Saturday. Just a complete lack of attacking effort / play again from us. It’s no surprise we keep playing the same way and it isn’t working.

I can kind of except the negative showings against 2nd and 3rd but that was bloody rubbish. Hussey and Hall played well and so did Proctor.

We look every bit a mid table side that seems scared to actually take sides on and when we do get a lead sits back.

Still I suppose people are still happy with a window where we didn’t sign a proven striker and brought in two young lads who are now back behind a winger in amoo in the pecking order!! At least we have 3 keepers…

I don’t want to hear ‘overreaction’ again. That was dire against a side who passed it to us more than to themselves. special mention to the lines woman who get every decision wrong.

Could be a good away day at Wrexham / Stockport next year

Great result, another point on the board, keeps the unbeaten run going and we’ve got games in hand on most teams….why, there’s still 16 games left, 48 points to play for nonetheless. As we’re guaranteed to win at least 15 of these games thereby achieving virtually the same number of points due to our free-scoring attack and water-tight defence, I’ve never been more sure about going up. But if we don’t, then it doesn’t matter because it will come next year, or the year after but definitely the year after that. But you can’t hurry these things, and anybody we gets impatient quite frankly hates the club, despises C&K and DC and should s*d off to watch Stoke instead.

That’s what happens when we play a back 5 week in week out and sign two young lads who’ve played a handful of career games between them. Lose on out of creative players in Politic and replaced him with the equivalent of Danny whitehead on the wing.

It looks like another season wasted supporting this club. If we finish below the play offs then it’s been a failure, let’s be honest. When will the misery end, seriously?

We never ever seem to be able to get the second goal to kill teams off. Then surprise surprise there’s a lapse in concentration and we concede. How many points have we thrown away now?

Rochdale were one of the poorest teams I’ve seen at this level. They offered nothing. Somehow we still gifted them a chance in the dying minutes.

Lets be honest, this has been coming. We are now losing ground on the teams above us.

It’s not even an over reaction. It’s becoming tiresome now. We seem to outdo ourselves constantly. ‘Typical Vale’.

We’re progressing quickly though. Don’t be so childish and demand immediate success. We’ve only been stuck in this division for 6 years.

Scoring one goal leaves you vulnerable as Tranmere discovered on Saturday. If you can keep clean sheets like Northampton one goal will get the 3 points although it doesn't provide much entertainment. Unfortunately our defence isn't solid enough to do a Northampton and if we are going to make the play offs this season we are going to have to make and take a lot more chances.
