For me this needs to be the minimum we get from these games if we are to be thinking of the play-offs.  We have gone 6 unbeaten and got 10 points from those games but no closer to the top 7 than when we started that run.  We need to start winning games, draws will not do anymore.

Bit of info for those traveling to the game tonight, Ive just rang Rochdale ticket office and tickets will be on sale from the porta cabin opposite the 5 aside / training pitches cash only, or by card from the main ticket office but expect to que @ main ticket office.

Thanks Paul.I’ve had a last minute cancellation for work so can get away to attend rather than watch it on the stream.

I think the only way we’ll get in the play offs is by putting a run of wins together. Good performances are not enough.

I think I’d start gibbo, proctor and Amoo tonight. Try and get us on the front foot early doors. Even if it means gibbo and proctor only getting an hour.

Pick the starting 11 that gives us the best chance of winning. As others have said, draws are no good. We’ve gone on an unbeaten run and not gained on anyone above us. Win the next two (which should be very winnable) and we’ll likely be back in the play offs.

I don’t want this season to become a ‘what if’. It’s now time to kick on and luckily there are still enough points to collect.

Green Un would get to my local newsagents about 7ish. Dad would give me 50p and let me spend the change on sweets or something. Used to love spending Saturday evening sat at the kitchen table reading it and drawing lines on all the League tables on the back page at the business end of the season.

Late Scorer was always a prolific marksman.

Very true. It was more in response to not playing Proctor or Gibbons. Also, there’s some games where we’ve clearly been happy to take a point. I wouldn’t be happy with just a point tonight personally. 

I understand that we may lose, it happens. Let’s make the most of this run of games though.

This is why I think we should start proctor and gibbons. Can always bring Worrall on after an hour or sooner if need be, maybe being benched would be the kick up the backside that he needs.
