When you consider 5500 home fans in general to take 1 in every 5 to a away game is terrific .

We have it in us to make a late charge for top 3 .

Would I be disappointed if didn't get in top 7.

No not as long as we have given everything last 18 games .

We have a tasty bunch of fixtures in them 18 games especially at home on our pudding of a pitch .

Think generally our best performances have come away but in order to get in play offs minimum our home form has to improve ten fold .

Hope the travelling Vale fans get behind the team if they do I think the  players can get the 3 points .

The away following could be anything I'm going for 1543 by close of business Fri afternoon .

1000 gone by Tues is excellent on the back of a so so performance v Northampton.

It would be a really nice game to win! I just hope we turn up and show a little more consistency. We seem to play well for a couple of games then put in a poor performance. I suppose the saving grace at the moment is we seem to be a lot tighter defensively.

Harrogate have conceded at least 3 goals in their last 4 games.

Maybe they're missing Connor Hall.

I've just read his wiki page, 28 years old, having risen steadily through the leagues. Also played in midfield, suggesting that this is why he's comfortable on the ball.

Seems like an ideal acquisition.

Whilst his Vale career is still in its infancy he looks to me to be one of the best pieces of business we have done in many a season.

Calm, assured, reads a game well.

As for the game it's going to be a tight one i feel, a point keeps us ticking but lets go for the win.

Wonder what reaction from Tranmere, two bad losses against average / poor teams coming after an unbelievably good run. Maybe the loss of Spearing (ala Conlan / Wilson / Proctor) has a lot to do with it.

Expect the five at the back to start with, but if body language suggests they are there for the taking we should up the anti.
