Match Thread: Carlisle United v Port Vale

Recommended Posts

Two teams with their games rained off on Saturday and rain forecast in Carlisle on Tuesday. So, what are the chances of a game? Leave the weather to the experts. Carlisle 5 games since their last win at home against the Bantams, but including games against FGR, Sutton and Salford since then. Will Proctor be sitting on the bench? Fancy 2-0 win for the Vale and the points to keep us close to the action.

Being snowing up Scotland and Yorkshire I believe so probably hit Carlisle at some point .

Shame but probably off .

You would think the rich clubs would put undersoil heating in for all the 92 clubs .

Hope it on though be watching on ifollow .

Big game if ON

Never easy win at Carlisle but that's what we must do .

The trouble with under soil heating is the running costs, will double/treble with the latest price increases. Without TV money in the lower leagues not practical.

It was like getting blood out of a stone to get them to filter some of their riches down so that clubs would actually survive as entities during the crowd ban, so why on earth would/should they pay for a luxury like undersoil heating? Nothing to do with them at all

Greed is the ruin of mankind .

Share your wealth as death is the only outcome and having too much will only lead to wanting more and unhappiness .

Give to the Vale and you will be rewarded .

Yes you are right the wealthy clubs  are so self consumed that they would never strengthen the whole footballing pyramid .

There Greed will lead to a nothingness what comes with being greedy .

Anyway back to the football if indeed there is any tomoz or anytime in the near future

I think it's been proven often enough that we are all in this together.  From Man City to Barrow.

Football seems to reflect society as a whole.  Some mega rich at the top of the pile who don't give a monkeys about the bottom.
