I don’t think he’s direct enough as a wing back and tends to drop back to a more defensive position. He plays a lot of backward balls and sits too deep IMO. I think he got behind them once today from a great through ball from Walker and that’s not enough. I think Worrall and gibbo have more energy about their play as well that takes the game to the opposition. He’s steady enough I guess.

Yeah I think so. He's okay, particularly defensively, but not as good as Gibbo going forward.

Sponsors MOTM Captain Smith. Second in a row I think. For me no one really stood out, but no one was useless either.

James Wilson take a bow…what a shift  he put in today,

Generally a poor 1st half.I thought they tired badly 2nd as soon as we started to put on a bit of pressure and felt it was only a matter of time before we would score.

Back to back clean sheets and 3 points to get back on track. Undoubtedly need to play much better than that Tuesday but sometimes you have to just find a way to win and move on.

Welcome victory, turgid performance. Need to be miles better on Tuesday, but the random nature of this league suggests we'll probably get something.

Defense seems steadier (though I could have marked that little lad up front with minimal fuss) but going forward is painful. We don't have any proper strikers. Sign one ffs.

Amoo on the left - pointless. Garrity deep - pointless.

I'm trying to reserve opinions on a couple of signings for a bit - hoping they improve as they bed in.

P&G caller calling Theo Robinson a traffic cone.  High light of P&G tonight.

Hopefully the new players will have settled in more by tuesday night and give us a fighting chance against FGR who seem to score for fun now.

Just hope DC and CO don't go too deep and defensive tuesday and try to score on a few scraps like he has set up a few games this season.

The most disappointed player today must surely be Aiden Stone. Did nowt wrong last week and kept a clean sheet yet he gets replaced by a bloke who makes Covolan look like the essence of calm good sense!

Three points deserved. Better of two teams.

Agreed. Keeper looked all over the place and Stone has done nothing wrong

As DC said, the goalie only came in late yesterday and met the players today.

Hopefully, he will train with the players and show us and them what he can do.  His defence will then gain confidence in his abilities and we keep clean sheets more and more.

Feel for Stone, as you say not done too much wrong and drops to the bench.  He is learning his trade and hopefully will be No 1 soon.
