I read on the Swindon fans forum a few months ago that they had the possibility of points deduction hanging over them.....

Anyone know if this is STILL a live possibility?…..

"On 16 September 2021, Swindon Town was given a suspended three-point deduction by the EFL, relating to the non-payment of player wages in June."

A really big game for us to try and build momentum with back to back home  games.

Difficult to predict starting 11 after the changes this week and 1 one eye on Tuesday.I fancy us to start 343 tomorrow and squeeze really high the CB’s with Hussey and Hall both starting.

Should be an excellent advert for L2 tomorrow.

I guess it depends how long it was suspended for?  If they commit any more misdemenours in that period then they'd be slapped with it.

Ah yes, it expires 30th June 2022, only relates to this season.

I watched Forest Green v Swindon on TV. I thought it was a bit of a nothing game but Swindon won. They are by definition a pretty good side if - like us - they can beat the league leaders away. But they aren't top of the league themselves and just in and amongst the candidates for 2nd-7th at the end of the season. So we need to show that with most of our players now back and strengthening in the window we are a better and higher level team. 2-0 is what I'm looking for.

Its a great chance to get three points with their issues but we have to turn up and be on it from the off, hopefully they tire as well after Man City then a tough midweek game.

Dont get drawn into the McKirdy circus and focus on ourselves and we have a great chance of a rare double over Swindon... we owe them a few after our general record against them the past 15 years.

I didn't see much to impress me with McKirdy; albeit that has never stopped very mediocre players returning and annoyingly scoring against us in the past. But the reason he left is because we could sign better players. If those better players perform in our competitive and now deep squad we should beat these. That all said I don't have any issues with him, he was just a journeyman player who didn't stick at the Vale. He seems to have had more success at Swindon and they have converted him into a goal scorer. But I think our defence should have him on toast?

I see Harriet has signed a twelve month extension at the Town. Says it’s a relief that he won’t have to look for another club during the summer. I think that’s if his own making that clubs get rid.
With his long hair he definitely looks like a girl who was a year above me at school. I left in 1980.

Enjoy the game tomoz fellow Valiants let's hope we come out the traps faster than Linford Christie in his prime ,not going tomoz but will be there tues v Salford.

Let's hope the 11 selected are bang up for it I'm sure with a weeks training under there belts they indeed will be  .

Team under DC couldn't care less as if they do not perform he sees what the majority of the support see anyway so trust him to pick the 11 best suited for Swindon .

Good Luck

Agree with most of this but they will have been training all through, not just this week.
