formation hinges on whether Hall is comfortable in a back 4

He is, Harrogate play 4 at the back. I think that's an explicit reason for his signing, as we don't have a natural LCB in a back 4 otherwise (Smith/Martin both prefer RCB, Jones best on left of back 3 or LB in back 4)

Defence with 4 at back:  Gibbo    Smith     Hall     Hussey

Cover for back 4:             Cass     Martin   Jones   Benning

Back 5 (my personal first choice first, but so many options!):

Gibbo/Woz/Cass     Cass/Smith/Martin     Smith/Martin/Hall   Jones/Hall/Hussey     Hussey/Gibbo/Benning

That's some pretty decent squad depth at the back, even if technically we're one DF down compared to start of the window.

Just settle down and hope we win. If it's 4-1 (and that's not my prediction) you won't care who scored for Swindon.

Wow! - that's my prediction, too! I think the loanees will score 2 between them...Woz and Conlon the other 2. I won't care if McKirdy scores - he wasn't much use to us so had to go!

Just hearing Clarkes comments about Saturday and I think it’s pretty clear that Hussey will be starting over Gibbo on Saturday. He refers to gibbo and Worrall as the right wing backs and hussey and Benning as the left wing backs.

I wouldn't read too much into that. If he saw Benning as a decent option at LWB then why start a RWB over him when he's been available? Can see Benning being shipped out if possible this window.

I think you have to play Garrity with his, as own poster superbly put it, 'ratmanship', as these lot like to keep the ball. You need him doing his vile things.

I'd be unsure about starting Wilson in such an important game. He'll be needed to press a lot and he didn't look up to it on Saturday. Maybe Politic, Harratt, Worrall front three with Garrity prowling behind?

EDIT: Just figure out I'd ran out of spaces. Too much choice. Don't like it.

Maybe. But when he referred to gibbo being a right wing back with Worrall, not wanting players to think they’ll get a start and then mentioning fan favourites (which gibbo is) makes me think he laying the groundwork to not play him.
