Nice. And proximity of the Railway turnstile area to the club shop might minimise the difficulty of doing this. Probably still not cheap in terms of initial outlay, and the measures mentioned in the club's reply are probably sufficient in the short-term, but this seems ideal as a long-term solution. Any idea of cost?

Long term it would cut down on costs of having someone to man the turnstiles.Less staff needed.

Remember that it takes 2 stewards 3 minutes to go through my bag always  finding the same flask, herbal tablets, 2 bags of crisps (they always comment on the flavours) and my phone and glasses. !!

Times this by say another 30 people that's 90 minutes. !!!

Any walk up fans reading this, who may already have had a couple of sleepless nights fretting about potential queues for the Railway, why not buy tickets for the Bycars, where the only queue you’ll see is for the tea bar.  Just bring some ear plugs for use prior to kick off and again at half time.

It's not rocket science really,  just get there in plenty of time 😉

If everyone turned up half an hour earlier , you would have the same queue only half an hour earlier.

The club just issued an update that there may be still coverage issues so get there early.

I think this refers to contactless payment around the ground.  They’ve said to bring cash, just in case.

Your statement is correct.

Quick couple of questions.

If you arrive at 2:25 and it takes you 20 minutes to get in how much football do you miss?

Were there any issues today?

Small, orderly queues as per normal.  I did see several fans holding the queue up due to issues with their digital tickets on phones and this would undoubtedly been the main issue last week.
