Comments by Bolton Wanderers manager Ian Evatt suggest that there will be no January recall for loanee Dennis Politic. Politic has been a popular addition to the Port Vale ranks after he joined on a season-long loan. He is hoping to boost his squad for a promotion push so only wants players without injury concerns. Maybe hoping we will bid?

Promotion push ?

They are closer to relegation.  16th . I know they had a lazarus recovery last season but I don't see it in League one.

Basically Evatt has an over inflated ego and thinks he's gods gift.

Their loss our gain.

His hopes not mine,  cant see him convincing his board. But Politic seems a popular topic with him, something afoot?

Surely threatening to recall him would make us more likely to bid? Especially as they know we're short of forward players, so them saying they're thinking of recalling him would mean the only way we'd be sure of keeping him for the rest of the season (and not having another attacker to replace) would be to buy him.

I can only assume it's because of injury concerns as you say, but either way this only increases our chance of getting him in June for almost nowt, as well as keeping him for the rest of the season. Happy days.

All speculation, he seems to mention Politic every day, or it is the Bolton press feeding snips of the last interview. It is promising assuming Den fits our Matrix
