Well done lads made a good effort just not to be! They always seem to have one over on us. Beaten but not disgraced with our injuries this was a good performance! Disappointed but not to unhappy three points from two difficult away matches would have took that every day.

Not good enough second half. A bit like the second half agains Bristol Rovers. We do have a tendency of playing really deep and sitting in during second halves, especially when winning.

It was always going to be an uphill battle with our injuries. However, the inability to keep the ball, sustain attacks and create chances was disappointing. We had one shot, which we scored.

Just now, Doha said:

We'll appeal that red and win. Embarrassment of a decision and theatrical dive, he won the ball.

Hope they do and that support your view.  Not seen it yet, but the commentators said he won the ball, but his dive into to get the ball made it look worse.

Their players and fans had been badgering the ref every time there was a foul or their player went down for a card.

Ain't watched it but by the stats we have being beaten by the better side .

Too defensive by the stats we play better when we go for it we ain't good enough defend for 90 plus mins .

Attacking is our strength not defending  but with all the injuries eventually it takes its toll

Looks like best we can hope for is play off to concede 1 goal fair enough 2 is absolutely diabolical .

Those injuries have cost us big time .

Decent effort under the injury circumstances and dont know why radio stoke are saying they are the best team we have played so far. Granted they were better than us on the night but, against a team that has no strikers other than a youth player making his debut the ball was never going to stick up top so we were always going to be under pressure most of the game. Compare that to rochdale at home, they tore us apart, no contest.

Its always gutting losing from a winning position but it was a free hit with getting the points at rovers. Anyone think we will contest the red? Looked like he got the ball and didnt seem dangerous but would like to see a replay

Never a red he won the ball won’t be long before a player dare not tackle

let’s be honest we didn’t deserve anything but after going in front it’s disappointing not get a point

Agree 100% got the ball. Thought he was fantastic at the back today as well

Too many off their game for me today. Conlon and Walker both very poor today. Garrity tried but had zero service. Politic anonymous. Legge and Jones both played well defensively, though I do wish Legge would stop trying that long ball every time. It hasn't worked for 4 years Leon, it's not going to now. Overall, we huffed and puffed, tried, but they deserved the win. Never a red card BTW. Clearly won the ball.

Why? We were poor.

I never expected us to win and I acknowledge our injuries, it was a tough ask. However, just because we’ve got players out I’m not suddenly going to say we played well.

Context SH - we are down key players, against a team on the up away from home - so yes, a tough ask. I don't think many on this forum have said we've played well today - beaten by a better side overall.  I prefer to accept the positives, rather than the negatives you mention re sustaining attacks. Helps to have attackers on the pitch who can hold it up - Proctor, Wilson, Lloyd, Rodney and Amoo all injured meant it was unlikely to stick up top, putting more pressure on the defence.  Seems to me this was a game where we were stretched and struggled without our usual attacking options. I'm okay with us being poor, given the circumstances. We're still third.
