Grinding out results with half a squad,  football is a game of 2 halves, settle it in the first half or come back in the second and final half.  Forest Green look to be on a stroll, sort of thing I want in March and April but before then it will be a grind to keep us in the running. We have the strength.

Advert:

Game changed 2nd half especially after Rodney went off as they by-passed their midfield and hit long balls up to their front men most of the time hoping for something to break for them which thankfully it didn't after they scored their goal.

Excellent by Garrity 1st half but my mom was Tom Conlon, absolutely ran the show, superb captain's performance.

Ref certainly wasn't a homer.

Just leaving now. Soaked to the skin. Nerves in shreds.

Get effin in .

Absolutely massive result however we got there.

Think and hope Rodney was precautionary.

Well done to the 245 loonies supporting tonight. We are all bonkers but it's worth it tonight.

245 is a good following on a night like tonight, RS said about 100.

Positives:

- Another thee points.

- Garrity is some player. Still has lots of room for improvement in his game, but the guy is a machine. A superb signing by the club when few of us expected too much from him if we're being honest.

- Despite having so many forwards out we still look a really good side when we get it down and play as we did at times in the first 45.

Not so positive:

- More potential injuries.

- Poor second half. We really didn't control the game at all as we should, and the subs that came on didn't offer much, if anything.

- Two very difficult games coming up against Newport and then Exeter, and with virtually no forward line. We're now reliant on Rodney being fit, a player who's been searching form this season so far.

I think ultimately if we do go up this season it’s this period we can look back on and say it went a huge way to doing it. I don’t think it’s an exaggeration to say there is no other club in this division who could keep pulling off results like we have been with the injuries we’ve got up top. Huge credit to all for that.

Conlon I thought was superb. We are extremely lucky to have him.
