Get the frigging hell IN

Garrity's high press won us that game. 2 goals and was in for a hat trick and forced their moron centre half to bring him down.

Phew, poor second half that, sat way too deep. Dirty side them, poor referee but both red cards were reds. Garrity was fantastic never stopping running. Hope Worrall and Rodney are ok missed their pace second  half

Thought the ref did ok

Weird.

Superb first half after the red and could have be 4/5 up. Garrity was outstanding as a quasi-striker.

Second half we were a bit messy; for some reason the loss of Rodney and Worrall threw us off. An unlucky deflected goal didn't help.

For all the faux-tension of Bowers and Yates, Stone has had absolutely nothing to do; no saves to make, nothing. I don't think we were under anywhere near the amount of pressure the commentators made out. They huffed and puffed but they did nothing. If it wasn't for Bowers shrieking every time they got the ball and Yates banging on about 'kill a few seconds', I don't think it would have felt as tense as it did. They barely got in our box. We were just a bit sloppy in possession but weren't threatened.

As a fanbase we love to criticise refs, even to accuse them of 'bias', but this one has helped us tonight. The red cards aside, he made some very questionable calls in our favour. Was awful all round, he couldn't even manage basic advantage calls. First red card no idea, second red card I'm not too sure about, but he was way, way below standard. The non penalty call for them was correct but I've seen them given when a player gets the wrong side.

Either way, we're third and grinding out wins when they're needed. The target was to stay in contention and then reinforce January. Tonight helps. It simply has to be Garrity and Politic as forwards on Saturday. I'd still get on the blower to a free agent, fit and unfit, and give them the month to help out. We're going to need subs. An unfit Calvin Andrew/David Nugent is better than running Politic into the ground.

Credit to those who travelled.
