Is there anything you’d like to see done to improve attending VP or to enhance our reputation

I have always thought that it would be best to demolish the railway and bycars. Bring the railway stand in and just have a 4k capacity stand. Use the land behind for industrial units or some thing . Make the bycars into a car park or training ground . Maybe develop later. There is a lot of wasted ground around the stadium .

I've always thought that I'd love to sit in the Railway, in a stand both closer to the pitch and with a much steeper rake.

Assumed I was being ott, but if there's any possiblity of this happening, let's develop the narrative.

The ground is dilapidated, we made a massive blunder when the Lorne Street was redeveloped, the pitch should have been moved right up to the Railway paddock giving us a lot more room to work with. The costs for making Vale Park in to a top quality stadium is horrendous. You are correct in saying we have a stadium that others would envy at this level but we need to move away from this level and should be challenging for a championship place but our stadium is way off championship standards. I would prefer we stayed at Vale Park and spent the millions needed to bring it to that standard but this cost will be millions more than moving to a new purpose built stadium

We couldn’t even afford to finish the Lorne Street stand let alone move the pitch at the same time.

We can spend millions on improving VP and it still won’t cost anywhere near as much as finding a suitable new site and building a brand new stadium.  Forgetting money for a moment, you’d have to find a site that most fans were happy with.  Difficult to say the least.  Likely as not it’d be in the middle of nowhere.

To have a good stadium I reckon it will cost as much to be renevate what we have. By selling the land we currently own would generate money to build a new stadium. Agree with finding a site will be difficult but there is plenty of land next to our current stadium

We missed an ideal site for a new ground, the old Doulton site before they started building houses on it.
