This article was from 2013 under different ownership I've heard no new comms regarding a family zone within the stadium if so enlighten me emoji108.png

Sorry, I didn't check the date on that but that is the way the Bycars is being used this season.  Since they closed the corner family stand, the Bycars is the designated family area. I know this because my neighbour's lass has a ticket in there.

You say it's criminal how money hasn't been invested in a family stand.  Well bear in mind that the owners chucked a million quid into the club last season to cover the covid shortfall and another £300k into necessary ground improvements (including putting seats in the area which will become the family stand), do you think they should put more into that or concentrate their efforts on the pitch?  If you know of a magic money tree, I'm sure they would be glad to hear from you!

No worries but this does prove a point of confusion between hardcore fans where and what is the designated family zone within the stadium.

If the Bycars is the temporary family zone I would hardly say its fit for purpose and

I've had 1st hand experience taking my young daughter with the lack of facilities and facilities made for make do for example the Disabled toilet is a changing room.

To your question I'm happy the club is running sustainably and playing budgets is a different entity however more families coming through the gate could drive bigger budgets.

However and im not being funny but I find it strange a community club does not have a dedicated family stand.

Hopefully the Lorne Street fund can gain momentum again and help fulfil this pipeline dream.

The club has made fantastic steps over a short period of time including the fanzone which was very engaging.

The staff and stewards have brought into the cultural factors driven by Carol and are kind helpful and happy.

However I do feel its a missed opportunity to have a match day experience for young families in a family stand where my journey began all those years ago

4,700 home fans when we were third in the league and in arguably the most anticipated home fixture of the season. Not good enough.

We’ve been saying for years that the crowds will return with better owners and when we’re doing well. I’ve been disappointed with our crowds this season on the whole.

Cutting off the Wonder of You for the bad Robbie song. What's all that about?

Just as the fans were starting to join in properly and start a bit of pre-match atmosphere they changed it to Let Me Entertain You last night. I was flabbergasted. It just killed it dead.

On the whole our crowds have been terrific this season. This is the first game we have not had 5000 home fans in a league game.

Last night was disappointing all round but we must regroup.

I think they've been ok as there have been some pathetic away followings.

However last night was baffling. You aren't telling me 500 season ticket holders were on noons .

Where were they all . We had 1500 more home fans when it was live on Sky the other week. Really disappointing attendance and a bit bemusing.

I don't disagree with you but it's a question of priorities.

I’d like to think we could get 6,000 consistently whilst doing well. Never seems to happen though.
Mid-week game crowds will always be lower, fewer children, working patterns, travel distance, economics. The smallest city with 2 league clubs is another challenge for Carol, let's hope so.

Don’t forget a lot of the season ticket holders are kids and it was a school night.
