Haven't you been crying out for Legge for weeks?

Poor result but not performance overall. We go again.

BTW, is there a competition going amongst our players for the best own goal of the season? emoji38.png

What, by saying he can replace Smith in the team because I think Legge is better than Martin?

Yeah, really crying out for him.

Dreadful defending, Martin hasn't had a decent game for us yet, for a six foot plus bloke its like having a midget in the defence, mind you that said Rodney has also been poor this season. Down to the bones now and need to regroup.

Defending - cant defend crosses into the box.

What do we actually work on in training? If we do actually work on trying to improve this but we're clearly not, then one or two need to be given their P45's as it's costing us big time.

Our defending is absolutely abysmal at times. When was the last time we kept a clean sheet??? And let’s not forget these had a game in the week and we didn’t. Martin has not convinced me at all. Shocking, no other way to describe and very p****d off with Vale tonight.

Listened on radio and thought Vale were going to win this convincingly. Good football and awful opposition. When Rodney ballooned chance over bar he should have been substituted immediately. Just cannot believe how did not win this against second bottom club. Hart should have been off for persistent fouling.

Why all the negativity? Yes, a poor goal to concede, but we've been by far the better side and are playing some lovely stuff again. Garrity MOTM for me so far. Running the show in midfield

Fast forward end of game. We lose.

A poor goal is a poor goal, no matter when, no matter how well we are playing.

One of those games 99 times out of 100 you win, I was furious we were going to draw that but when they got the free kick you just knew what was to come.

Two massive home games now, frustrating thing is Oldham by far the worst side we’ve played this season, that should of been convincing. Missed Smudge today that’s for sure.

Absolute toss. To go from 2-1 up on 81 mins to lose. Shocking. Against 2nd bottom. Awful Vale.

It's the type of defeat that can completely knock a team off the rails. Let's see how we do in a few days time. Win and this can soon be forgotten to an extent. Drop points and suddenly it's typical Port Vale territory all over again...

With Wilson (or Proctor) out there today we win this game, 100%.
