Listened on radio and thought Vale were going to win this convincingly. Good football and awful opposition. When Rodney ballooned chance over bar he should have been substituted immediately. Just cannot believe how did not win this against second bottom club. Hart should have been off for persistent fouling.

I thought the same but then having controlled the game and taken the lead in both halves our tempo drops and we let them come on to us. Disappointed, the consolation being not too long a journey back home

Its okay saying that but we said that at Sutton as well... 6 or 7 games ago

Haven't you killed your own argument there? If this happens only every 6 or 7 games, and we react the way we have done on each previous occasion, we'll be right up there. Obviously not ideal, but all teams have this type of issue now and again. I'm not worried at all. Disappointed, yes. But not worried

No not killed my own argument. Let's see how next 2 games go. Awful result today. Text book Vale, in control & find a way to lose. Teams that get promoted don't do that kind of thing. We've now done it twice at Sutton & Oldham. Poor. Big game Tuesday.

It Happened against Colchester but they missed their two free headers at goal.

So many people dont see it as a problem if we dont concede.

Legge was a beast to start the season and we need him back in there now, at least for the time being.

I think it’ll be same again though on Tuesday.

I can’t understand not playing Politic and if he’s not suited to the style then why is he here?  He’s a player worth swapping the formation round for and four at the back is fine.

push Worrall up and have Politic on the other side because we have lost attacking threat and quality - can’t expect to run teams over by 4 and 5 when players are out injured if you just swap in worse players and expect the same.

The defensive errors are normally glossed over as we managed to score a goal more.  Today it did not happen.

Have a feeling that Tuesday will make or break our season.

It’s not.

It might be make or break of how some fans treat or react to the team.

Thats a choice those fans will have… as I always say, baffles me how fans would not support the club through a sticky patch… but that’s football fans.

There are lots of of games left… Plenty of weeks where our injured players will be back. Plenty of time to find a solution, plenty of time to get on another winning run.

One game won’t make it break us, it’s an emotional one because it’s Walsall and the Clarke context is interesting. But DC has said every week… there will be tricky periods.

Gutted and should've won that game but Vale can't deal with balls into the box, we've seen it before.

For most of the game Vale played well and controlled the game but it changed when they moved Piergianni forward and Vale couldn't handle his physicality. Right thing to do to bring Leon on, missed Smithy's reading of the 2nd ball in Vale's box, Aaron Martin doesn't look solid or comfortable.

<ovf censored> happens, put it right against Walsall.

That's football isn't it? Not every team is going to punish poor defending every time. It's not a game of Football Manager. Evens itself out over the season, so playing like we are we'll win a lot more than we lose.

The thing is any manager with half a brain now will be playing strikers right on the last man and launching it forward / getting it wide and lobbing it in - with no build up play, negating our footballers in the middle and pressuring us.

Well, you're obviously entitled to your opinion. But how we react to today will be massive. Lose against Walsall and I'll feel like the wheels are well and truly about to come off. We've seen it happen before too many times.

I do expect us to bounce back though and I think we will win the game quite comfortably if we play well.

Poor result things to work on in the training ground. Thought clarke got the changes wrong were playing against a rubbish team why go so defensive when we went one up. One way to stop crosses coming in is by having the ball up the other end. Thought by bringing legge on that he set the agenda  for us to sit deep and invite crosses.

hes allowed to have off days tho we move onto Tuesday hopefully we get it right were 3rd in the table relax people
